Unexpected

part 3 Rose's pov

We walked into the clinic and Dr. Olendzki was already waiting for me.

"Rose what a surprise to see you here." She said adding sarcasm in her voice.

"Well, I came willingly so the surprises keep coming," I said trying to use some humor.

"It must be bad if you came willingly. What is it that you need today?" She asked showing me to a room while Dimitri waits in the waiting room.

"I need some tests done. Yes, I do mean many." I said uneasily about how messed up this situation is.

"Okay. What tests do you want done today? Oh and that reminds me that I forgot to give you a very important test when you came back from the car crash. If it's okay with you we can do them all now?" Dr. Olendzki asked.

"Yes, it's fine," I said sitting down on the bed.

"What tests do you want first then we can do my test?" Dr. Olendzki asked.

"Well, I was wondering if you could give me a blood pregnancy test? If it comes back positive," which it mostly is to, "can you do a 'breed' test? And can I get a private parental DNA test?" I asked nervously that the answers might come back what I'm nor ready for.

"Okay, I will be right back with the tests." Dr. Olendzki said leaving the room.

What if the tests come back positive? Am I ready to be a mom? I know Dimitri is ready to be a dad and would make a really good one at that.

With Dimitri's support, I guess I can do this. I can and will do this. I will be a better mom than my mom was ever.

About 5 minutes later Dr. Olendzki came back with the tests and did them. After doing them she came back to ask me the basic questions.

"Okay Rose, what symptoms have you been experiencing lately?" She asked.

"I have been hungrier than normal, missed period, woke up puking, and I'm exhausted a lot." I said.

"Okay. I can pretty much infer your pregnant, but later wait for the tests," She said.

"Dr. Olendzki what was that test you wanted to do?" I asked.

"A DNA test to see if you have enough Dragomir blood in you to see if you can take the throne. Lissa possibly transferred DNA into you when you were healed." She said hopefully.

"Okay go ahead and do it," I said not wanting another needle in my arm.

"I already did when you weren't looking, I know how much you hate needles."

"Thanks, Doc when are the test results going to come back?" I asked wanting to go back to my dorm and sleep.

"They will be back before dinner. I'll call you down. Go and rest until then." She said rushing me out of the door.

Once I was out of the clinic Dimitri was next to me and asking what happened. I was still in shock. I might be the royal Dhampir.
