Unexpected

Chapter 11: Dimitri's POV

     ~~~~~Sorry for the really late update~~~~~~~~~

     I couldn't stop smiling all day. When Roza gave me the news that she wanted to go to Russia until the baby is born I was so happy. I have a feeling that once she gets to meet Mama, she wouldn't want to leave. But she may have to. With her possibly being a Dhampir Queen we might have to live at Court with Queen Vasilisa and Christian. I'll have to talk to Alberta about everything tomorrow morning. Right now the only thing I want to do is to find Roza and cuddle in my room, maybe also talk about the baby.

       So I did just that. Leaving my station near the gate after my shift was over, I went in search of Roza. I went into the dorms and checked her room but she wasn't there. I checked with Vasilisa, but again she wasn't there. Getting worried I went to Alberta's office to ask for help looking for Roza. To my surprise when I got there I found Roza talking to Alberta already. 

        "What's going on in here?" I asked curiously. 

         "I was just talking to Alberta about the recent choice I made about going to Russia and how I plan to continue my schooling over there going to St. Basil's like you did," Roza said looking at me waiting for my reaction. To say I was happy was an understatement, I was joyous to find out her choice.

        "And I was telling Rose that what she wants to do sounds feasible, but due to the new information of her possibly being a royal she'll have to have her own guard team," Alberta explained to me. As I am one for Roza's safety I would make sure she gets the best of the best to protect her. Also knowing Roza I know she's gonna put up a fight against this.

      "Are you okay with this Roza?" I asked.

       "Not really but I know that it's not only me that I'm protecting and that also that now since I'm a royal I knew something like this was coming soon, I just didn't think it would be this soon," she replied looking a little down that she wouldn't be able to do whatever she wants to now.

        "Okay, so it's already set up who will be on her detail. Dimitri since you are closest to Rose you can be the leader of her detail, also I know you would want to be head of her detail anyway to make sure she is being protected by the best guardians. Also, I have to advise that it might be best for you to come back after the baby is born to live at royal court so you can learn the responsibilities as a royal," Alberta informed both of us. 

         "I'll let  Roza decide what she wants to do when it comes to that point, but for right now we have to get packed and ready for the trip to Russia and I want Roza to rest before we go," I said to Alberta stepping forward to grab Roza to take her back to my room to rest. After saying our good-byes to Alberta we finally were able to go back to my room to rest and pack. I'm so excited to be going home.
