You ran as fast as you could. You didn't want to be anywhere near these people. You hated them all. Then you saw Dream behind you. He just stared. He began to run towards you and in turn you ran away from him. As you ran, you found in your pocket the card from Quackity. You had forgotten about it until now. You took it out your pocket and looked at it, it had the words 'ʟᴀs ɴᴇᴠᴀᴅᴀs' inscribed in bold on top of a picture of a playing card on one side and on the other there was what seemed to be a map. The map showed exactly where you were right now and had the route to the room highlighted. You looked behind you again, Dream was catching up. Usually you wouldn't mind speaking to him but after what you'd found out, it was just wrong and you'd do anything you could to get away from him. You just hoped that if you got to Quackity he wouldn't turn you in. You ran as fast as you could, watching as the locator on the map that indicated you, moved closer to the end. You finally got there and without thinking you shoved the card in your pocket, opened the door and slammed it behind you. You sighed and leaned against the door, out of breath. You slowly stood up and looked around. The room was huge. You began to walk. There were round tables with red table cloths scattered across the room, some had packs of playing cards on them, others had blackjack boards. There were also slot machines placed neatly against some of the walls. You could tell this was some kind of casino. As you walked further you came across a table where a group of people were sitting, playing some sort of game. You saw the two from earlier with a couple of others. One was staring at you. You looked back at him. He had brunette hair and round glasses.
Wilbur? It can't be. That traitor!
One of your eldest brothers was sitting right infront of your eyes with the people that killed Tommy. He gave you the look that he used to give you when you were younger and he got in trouble and didn't want you to say anything to Philza. You decided not to say anything about knowing him and neither did he.
'Ah, Y/N. You finally came!' Quackity chuckled, 'Needed cash?'
'Not really.' You replied.
You didn't know why anyone would need money here anyway.
'Oh?' Quackitys expression changed and he glanced at his friends.
'I was uh- avoiding someone.' You ended up telling him.
'Who?' Quackity asked curiously.Everything around you went dark and you saw yourself lying limp on the ground in a puddle of blood with Dream standing over you holding a blade. You blinked and everything went back to normal. (👀ayo?)
'Uhm, Y/N? Earth to Y/N.' Quackity said staring at you awkwardly.
'What?' You asked.
'I asked who you were avoiding.' He explained.
'Oh, uhm-' You began, not really wanting to tell them.
'It's fine if you don't want to say. Anyway, meet the rest of my friends.' He said before telling you the others names.
Someone knocked on the door. You just hoped it wasn't dream. The door opened slowly and Illyria was standing there holding Patches in her arms. She looked at you and you looked back.
'Look Y/N, I'm sorry I-' She began.
You sighed.
'I know he's your brother and all but we didn't think-' She said.
You looked down, then at Wilbur, then back at Illyria, 'It's fine, it's not your fault.'
Alex walked up behind Illyria and put his hand on her shoulder. He glanced at you nervously. Illyria looked back at him and nodded to which he sighed and looked relieved. He looked around, then at something behind you. You followed his gaze to someone who looked around the same age as you. They had short, half green and half pink hair and were wearing a fishnet shirt and tights over a fancy looking outfit. Alex walked past Illyria towards them to which Illyria soon followed. They were sat in a chair further away from the others but facing them and mostly behind Wilbur. You couldn't bear the thought that out of all people Wilbur decided to join these people. Illyria gestured you over. You walked over and the person gazed up at you.
'I'm Salmon.' They smiled.
'I'm Y/N,' You replied, 'Nice to meet you.'
They stood up and looked you in the eyes before putting their hand out for you to shake. The door behind you opened once again making you jump. You turned around and saw Dream standing in the doorway.
'Oh! Just who I needed, Y/N follow me.'
You looked over at him for a couple of seconds before hesitantly walking over to him. You saw Illyria and Alex exchange nervous glances with eachother and then with Salmon too. Dream led you out the room before closing the door behind you. He slowly began to walk so you followed.
'Soooo-' you began.
'I just wanted to ask a few questions.' Dream smiled, his mask still propped to the side so you could see his face. He didn't wait for a reply.
'Are they still being okay with you?' He asked.
You nodded.
'Nobody's.... Told you anything?'
You knew what he meant.
'No.' You lied.
'Well.. Okay then.' He replied.
'Anything else?' You asked.
'No, that's all, you can go now.'You awkwardly glanced back at Dream before walking away. Rather than going back to Las Nevadas you decided to look around more.
