7: After The Wedding

Your Perspective

"UGHHHH, Thank god I get to get out of this stupid dress." Beidou yells exasperatedly after I was set down on the ground. Beidou quickly took off her heels and the wedding dress. We finally after situation after situation kept putting it off. It was a rather incredible occasion if I must say so, as all our friends, members of the Crux, my students, and even some friends from Inazuma attended. Beidou had cut her hair before the ceremony, and I finally did something about mine too. One thing my wife complained about during the ceremony was how tight the dress was around her chest area, which once pointed out, was rather noticeable. 

"Well, we're back now. So feel free to take it off, as I'm going to get changed myself." I say, going to a separate to find different clothes. It still feels like a dream, getting married to the love of my life. I would have never expected that so many years ago when I left Sumeru to find a home elsewhere, the woman who let me board her ship to enter Liyue would end up becoming my wife. Though this outcome is one not expected, it is one that I very much love. After I get changed, I headed back out to to the living room to be with Beidou. She already finish swapping clothes, though it seems like her choice for a top was to snag one of my shirts. 

"Better?"

"Much better." She says a smile on her face. Beidou leans over, placing a passionate kiss on my cheek, making my face heat up. I then turned and placed a kiss on her cheek in return.

"So, where do we go from now?" 

"Well, i was thinking we could maybe travel to another region for our honeymoon. I was thinking Natlan or Sumeru perhaps." I said, moving my hand to intertwine with Beidou. She grips back as she considers my proposal.

"It'll be just the two of us right?" 

"Of course. You're expecting me to bring people along?"

"N-No! I was just making sure." Beidou quickly objects before pouting. 

"Well, whatever the region, it'll be just the two of us enjoying what they have as a married couple. I'm sure that's an idea you can get behind no?" 

"You're right. Though I've always wanted to head to Natlan, so how bout we go there?" 

"Sure thing. I'll find a way for us to travel and I'll let you know when we leave."

"Heh, you're planning on finding it solo? We're a team now, let me help with this stuff for once will ya?" Beidou says, moving her hand to pull me closer to you.

"Yeah, I suppose its silly of me to do such. Very well. We'll find a way to travel and we'll decide when to leave." I say, grinning at her.

"Thats the spirit!" She says, laughing boisterously. We sit there in each others arms, just happy to have the others company.

"Hey, (Y/N)?"

"Yes, Bei?"

"Today was among the best days in my life. I'm glad I fell in love with you."  Beidou whispers, pulling me in for a kiss on the lips. I pulled away very briefly to respond back.

"I'm glad I fell in love with you too, and that you're my beautiful wife, Bei."
