I heard a knock on the door"good morning honey"oh God,I wish it would always be night"hey mom"to my surprise I didn't dream about my day today.i guess nothing cool was gonna happen,it never does.i got out of bed and got dressed "after school where having my boss over"my mom said "ok" oh well,I didn't care it's always some guy I don't know.when I got on the bus every seat was taken,except for the "nerds seat"guess that's my seat.when I got to school everyone was looking at me like I had a bug face.i realized that they weren't looking at me but Eli,since he's the hot popular kid.i just walked faster to my gym class.the thing that's boring about my life is I don't have any friends.i am the ugly nerd everyone hates me.as everyone got seated,I noticed that there was a new girl and she looked lonely so I sat by her "hi what's your name"she said "hi,my name is Layla what's yours"my name is Kate,wanna be friends"what,did she just say wanna be friends"sure"i replied.oh my god I have my first friend since 6 grade! When it was time for lunch Kate and I sat by each other.we talked and laughed,it feels great having a friend."hey wanna come over to my house today"i asked "my mom is having her boss over so come at 6:00" "ok,I would love to"when I was on the bus I thought about why I didn't dream last night .when I got home my mom was getting dinner ready I went upstairs to change and came down to help"how was your day honey" "it was ok"" what's your bosses name mom"i asked I was wondering cause I might know his son or daughter "Johnson"oh my god it's Eli's dad.oh whatever I really didn't care"mom my friend is coming over her name is Kate I told her to come at 6:00" "oh ok "this was gonna be great
