Friends.

"PRESENT DAY "-2018

Bridget never had any friends back then, at least not because of her own will.

Most people her age have had a boyfriend before, or at least a friend, but she never really expected a lot from people. Her family wasn't really great, but she has moved on from their deaths; she's past her mistakes and her past.

She moved with her aunt back to Australia after her father died. She became a different person. Not necessarily in a bad way. She kept her things and feelings for herself and left the past, well, in the past.

Now she's graduated and she couldn't be more proud of herself for overcoming her mistakes. But she still misses her dad. She tells herself that she shouldn't because he was never present in her life. He never went to her competitions, her school events, not even her kindergarten graduation (which was honestly ridiculous).

She always told herself that he was "too busy" or "tired" to be there for her, but she knew he was probably just at a bar fucking a random girl in a bathroom. It sounds harsh, but it's probably the truth.

You know, she just wished she had a man to be there for her always, to tell her she's enough, that she shouldn't cry over "stupid boys", to just support her for once.

And her wish became a reality.

She made a friend, his name is Michael. He's like a ball of energy that never stops from making people happy.

Bridget loves him with her whole soul and she thinks he is a miracle fallen from heaven.
