Place: England

It was a very fun day today. I met a man named Niklaus, such a very handsome fellow. I was at the saloon, drinking, until he offered me a drink, I accepted, and things went on from there. We soon started going out together, hitting it hard at night, such a delightful man he is. Although I know this will not last forever, it's still so much fun. Currently, I'm laying in bed with him, his shirt was off, with the covers over our bodies, we both were smiling after the fun we just had.

"Elizabeth, darling, I must ask you of something." He broke the silence. "I am a monster," he said,"I kill, I lie, I do bad deeds." he paused for a moment, then let out a sigh," I am a nightmare amongst nightmares, a beast upon this world-"

I cut him off," Oh nonsense Niklaus, you are the most tempting man I have ever met, for that, it doesn't make you evil." I stopped.

"But you don't understand," I could hear the emotion in his voice. "I have been here for centuries, I can't die, Elizabeth."

"What..?"

I was so confused, have I really fallen for a madman?

"Prove it to me," I sat up. "Prove to me you really are a monster, Niklaus." I looked at him with a persistent gaze.

"As you wish, Elizabeth."

He took my finger, and pricked it, I winced a bit, confused on what he was doing until he held my finger to his nose. Soon, his eyes glowed a yellow, and his eyes would turn a black color, his veins would show, and he had such sharp teeth. I was so... fascinated

"Your not scared?" He asked me.

"Why should I be, y-you're beautiful." I respond in amazement, I never knew such creatures existed.

" I can turn you." He said.

"Turn me? Into something like you?" I asked curiously.

"Yes," he replied," all you have to do is drink my blood, and I'll provide the rest."

"I don't know what to say.."

"Please," he asked,"for me?"

He picked up my hand and gently kissed it, putting it back down on the bed where it rested before.

"Yes." I said firmly." I'll do it, I don't care about what I'm leaving behind, but you'll have to teach me how to be one." I smiled a bit.

From there, he grabbed a glass off the table, he bit his arm and poured his blood into a cup. Soon, his wound healed, convincing me even more on why I made this decision.

"Drink it," he said.

I grabbed the cup, I looked at him hoping he would reassure me, in which he looked back with a nod, I stared at the cup for another few seconds, I put the glass to my lips, and drank all the blood inside.

"Let us sleep, for tomorrow, you will be officially a vampire." He said as he laid back down on the bed.

I fell asleep peacefully, knowing that tomorrow would be a better day.

I woke up with a heavy gasp of air, I could remember what happened last night, but did it really work? I woke up to the sight of Niklaus pouring something in a cup, it smelled so delightful. My head was pounding, its as if I had the worst morning-fog of my life.

"Good morning, love." Niklaus said, he turned to me with a smile and handed me a cup,"Drink this, it will complete the transition." He said.

I grabbed the cup out of his hands, the smell was so alluring, as if I could taste it before it even entered my mouth. I soon drunk the liquid, satisfying my thirst, and soon enough, my pain went away.

"What was that?" I asked, wondering if it was a medicine of any kind.

"Human blood." He replied, I was taken back a bit, but nonetheless kept my composure.

"Is that the price to pay for this.. gift?" I asked, what more could I ask for, I'm finally one of them.

"Sadly, my love, but do not worry," he handed me a ring of some sort," put this on, you'll be able to walk through the sun with it."

I slipped the ring on my finger, it was astonishing too.

"You see, I must teach you of all the things you can do now."  He said.

I soon got changed, and headed out with him.

I've spent the last few weeks learning more about vampirism, and how to better control my hunger for blood. Niklaus is such a wonder, he's so different. The type of man you shouldn't be with, the type of man that's bad for you, but you still can't grasp enough of him.

"Elizabeth, darling," he said,"I will be leaving overseas next week, on Tuesday."

I paused for a moment, like I said, I knew this wouldn't last forever.

"It could be long before I see you, years, decades, maybe even centuries, but just know, you'll always be remembered by me."

"Do not worry, Niklaus." I replied. " I will be fine on my own, after all, I have all the time in the world."

"Walk with me." He said.

I got up, wearing my dress, he held out his hand as he helped me down the steps of the piazza.

"Its been a very delightful time here with you," he broke the silence once again.

"I could say the same." I answered. "Never has a man given me so much."

"It was the least I could do, dear." He smiled as we continued our steps, passing by people on our  way.

"I already know what you're thinking." I say, a smile on my face as we walk forward.

"Is that so?" He asks playfully.

"Will she be fine when I'm away? Will she lose control?" I sighed. "You mustn't worry Niklaus, these are problems I must face on my own."

He let out a lengthened breath. "I guess you are right, after all, you were able to tolerate me." He chuckled a bit.

"I suppose so," I chimed in, smiling.

We soon went into a saloon and sat down at a booth, calling over a man who seemed to be alone.

"If this is our last moments together before we see each other again, please share this last meal with me." He sounded so genuine and polite, how could I deny such an offer.

he soon cut the man's arm and poured his blood into two glass cups, we both cheered as we drank from the glass.

"I'm going to miss you, Niklaus." I say as my final goodbye.

"Likewise, Elizabeth."

With that, he left the booth and headed out.

Now that he's gone, I have no purpose in staying in England. I soon packed my things, and got ready as I boarded my ship. As I see the dock getting smaller and smaller, I began to think, oh where to begin.

(A/N) Words like piazza and morning fog were terms people back then used, I just wanted to make the story as accurate as possible. Also, you guys can come up with your own Elizabeth, you decide how she looks!

Thanks so much for reading, hopefully the next chapter will be out soon!
