It was black and i heard beeping. I tried moving, but i couldn't. Maybe i should just try moving eyes. I started to blink but my eyes opened to fast and bright light hit my eyes. I closed them once again, then opened them slowly. Everything was blurry at first, then my eyes got adjusted to it. 'Okay, now all i have to do is talk', I thought. I opened my mouth and just a noise came out. 'Come on you got this Queen', I thought.

Why would she do something like this to herself? Why didn't she come to me for help? Doesn't she know i love her? All these questions ran through my head. I just looked at her lifeless like body. Then I seen her open her eyes but then close them shut again. Wait, WHAT?! She opened her eyes, I must be tripping. I rub my eyes cause i haven't slept in days. Then i heard a noise come from her lips. This made me get up from my seat and walk towards her. "Baby", I said in a whisper. Her eyes slowly opened again and she squinted her eyes. I guess she wasn't used to the light. Her eyes became wider as she seen it was me. Then she started made noises again. "Whats wrong", I asked. She pointed to the water bottle. I rushed to give it to her. Opening it, I gave her some water and she guzzled it down.
"I think i should call for a nurse and tell them your finally awake", I told her. She shook her head okay and i left to go find a nurse. I seen this lady in scrubs and i tapped her shoulder. She looked up from her paper and looked up at me. "Ummm... hi, how may i help you", she asked. I could tell i was making her nervous. If Queen was here she would be making that cute little face she does, when shes annoyed or irritated. I smiled at the thought of her. She had me strung and didn't even know it.
I realized i spaced out and looked at the nurse. "Oh, um my girlfriend is awake", I said to her. "Oh", she looked disappointed. "What's her room number",she asked. "387",I said. "Ok, well I'll follow you to her room and run a couple test on her", she said grabbing a couple of things with her. "Okay",I said.
When she was finally ready, I took her to queens room. Queen smiled at me and the nurse. "Hello, Ms. Knight. My name is nurse Jamie and I'm here to run a couple of test on you, okay", Jamie said. Queen shook her head yes meaning she understood. Jamie lifted the covers off of her feet and ran her pen up and down her feet. "Can you feel that", she asked as Queen wiggled her feet. She smiled and shook her head yes. "Okay let me just run a few more test and then I'll be out of your hair", she said.
Once she was finished, she left and said she'll bring back a doctor to check on Queen. When we we're alone i moved my chair closer to her and grabbed her hand. I kissed, "I missed you so much baby", I said. "how long was i out for", she asked. "About a week", I said looking down. I can't believe she would do something like this, why would she try to leave my all by myself? "Oh",was all she said. "JaMiyah hasn't been taking this to well",I said. "I figured she wouldn't", She said not looking me in my eyes. "Your hiding something from me, what is it", I asked concerned.
Tears began to appear in her eyes, when she looked at me. "I just felt like once i was gone that it would solve all our problems. Nothing has been normal. We can't even go down the street without something bad happening to us. I guess it was always bothering me, but when JaMiyah said those things to me, I guess you can say it was my breaking point. All i wanted was the best for her. I had to end my childhood for her to have hers and she wasn't happy with me. I'm not enough",she said breaking down. I got up and hugged her tightly to me.
I wanted her pain to go away. I wanted to see that beautiful smile that i loved so much. "You are enough. I don't care what JaMiyah said. You were both angry and had this dark cloud over your head that you wanted to get away from. I'm sorry that i made that cloud darker. I'm sorry that we can't be normal, but what I'm not sorry for is falling in love with the most strong, independent, and most caring beautiful girl i know...you", I said. She looked up at me and one last tear fell down from her eyes. "You love me", she asked. "With all my heart", i said and i kissed her forehead.
"Tony I-", I cut her off , "You don't have to say anything baby just relax and lay with me", I said moving onto the bed fully. She snuggled closer to me.
