Chapter 3 : Finding the New Manager

It was the next day when during our recess break Shimizu and I decided to meet up together in the first year hall then we are just roaming around asking for volunteers but so far none not until we bumped into a blonde girl

Shimizu: No it's alright we are just wondering if you want to volunteer to become a manager on the volleyball team oh btw the name is Shimizu Kiyoko I am a 3rd Year also a Manager

Y/N: Yeah my name is L/N Y/N.I am the current assistant coach. I hope you can at least try and see if you can join the team. It's never wrong to try new things right?

It was the end of school, and Yachi and I walked to the Girl's Changing room where we saw Kiyoko. Today's afternoon practice we have a practice match with Ounginishi School unfortunately Coach Ukai won't be attending due to his shift in the store thus leading me in charge for now with the help of Takeda Sensei. But before that Kiyoko had to introduce the Yachi to the Team

Kiyoko: This is Yachi Hitoka the first year and she will be on trial if she wants to become a new manager

Everyone gathered around her not noticing her scared face of her then immediately Yachi introduced herself nervously

Kiyoko announces that Ounginishi Highschool will arrive in exactly 5 mins the players start changing their uniforms while Yachi and I help set up the chairs and the scoreboard needed Kiyoko also explains that today Yachi will be watching and observing the game for the 1st time. After the Ounginishi arrives, we greet each other and we begin the game. During the practice match with the help of my see-through world, I noticed the opponent's techniques and strategy and with that, they won with ease.

It was afternoon already once the practice match ended, I walk Yachi-san home because I suggested that we should walk while we are walking I had a little conversation with Yachi about her becoming the manager

Y/N: Hey Yachi-san, what do you think about the volleyball practice match today?

Yachi: It was cool I saw this up close rather than in my PEH Class

Y/N: So are you going to join ? You do seem interested in it?

Yachi: I don't know, I don't think so I won't be the right fit for a manager not to mention I am just a villager B so i think can't be your manager.

Y/N: You're wrong I don't think so you're a villager B you are just important as everyone else and everyone has a purpose and that includes you too.

Yachi: Thank you L/N I want to try out being a new manager 😊

Y/N: That's great Yachi and you can call me Y/N or N/N. Can I call you Hitoka too?

Yachi: Sure N/N

While we are walking I can hear the presence that someone was watching us it wasn't the smell of a demon but more of a person more like a stalker so I grab her hand of Hitoka and try to be alert while walking till the man approaches us

Y/N: Oh boy I can smell bad vibes about this guy

Stalker: Hey pretty ladies how about you girls come with us huh we won't hurt you I promise

At that moment I can feel Hitoka's nerves are trembling and I can hear her heartbeat we tried to walk away but the guy is so persistent that he tried to grab our wrists I quickly react to slap the guy's face

Y/N: Don't you ever touch her you bastard !!!

Stalker: Oh you are asking for it !!!

Y/N: Hitoka call the police 👮‍♀️

Hitoka : Haiii

He tried to punch me but I dodge it. Then in a single swift movement, I karate chopped his neck to knock him out before the police and Hitoka arrived.

Hitoka: What happened to you  Y/N-chan ??!!

Y/N: It's fine Hitoka I just knock him out and he is unconscious

Hitoka: Thank you so much Y/N chan

Y/N: No problem you are also a great help out thereby calling the police

After that incident, we reached Hitoka's apartment and we bid goodbyes to each other I sprint to my estate to prepare for my patrol tonight.
