Ch21: Aoba Johsai vs Karasuno Rematch

Karasuno now has to face Aoba Johsai in order to advance to the Finals.It was after Aoba Johsai defeated Date Tech

Y/N: I think our opponent has been revealed

We are now headed to the Court where we notice a new player in the court

Coach Ukai: As you all know we lose to Aoba Johsai last inter-high so let's change this and win

Karasuno: Haii

In the middle of the match. Kageyama serves next and aims towards the line where Hanamaki is, with Daichi commenting on the good placement. However, the ball lands out, angering the first-year. Iwaizumi serves next and Asahi picks it up. However, the ball is flying long. Kageyama then performs a one-handed set to Tanaka, who scores the second point. Hinata then comments that he wants to hit the ball too.

Aoba Johsai then does a player substitution. They sub in #16 for Kunimi. Iwaizumi serves and Daichi receives it. Tanaka spikes, but Kindaichi gets a one-touch. Watari receives the ball and Oikawa prepares to set it to Kindaichi. However, Kyōtani runs up from behind and knocks down Kindaichi. He then spikes past Karasuno's defense with all his force. However, the ball landed out, shocking everyone including Aoba Johsai's members.

Karasuno wins the set 25-23.

Set 2 began and during the match, Oikawa sends an open set to Kyōtani on the right Kyōtani jumps up and hits a cut shot. Daichi receives Iwaizumi's next serve. Hinata and Kageyama perform their quick, but Iwaizumi picks it up. Kindaichi makes an approach for a broad jump, tricking Hinata into jumping, only for Kyōtani to get the ball. He scores, accidently knocking down Hanamaki in the process. The score is now 4-1. Iwaizumi hits his next serve into the net

Hanamaki passes to Kyōtani, but the ball is close to the net. Oikawa realizes that if he spikes, he'll get shut down, and then yells at him to bounce the ball back. Kyōtani doesn't listen and is shut down by Daichi.

Y/N: He didn't rebound it and I thought his a bit rational player but he is like Inosuke double edge sword wielder

Hanamaki spikes and Nishinoya receives it. Hinata decoys for Asahi, who spikes, but Kyōtani gets a hand on the ball. Hanamaki saves it. Oikawa sends the ball to Kyōtani who attempts the parallel running approach from earlier. Hinata is determined to stop it, but Kyōtani instead spikes into the net, scoring

Y/N: I get it now the very basis of his spikes are his muscles he releases them in a full blow amazing

The score is 10-8, Aoba Johsai's favor. Watari messes up his next pass. Oikawa then goes into the position to perform a quick with Mattsun. However, this was a trick and he sends the ball to Kyōtani

Y/N: The receives was purposely to lure the blockers and then send them to the opposite side.

Coach Ukai: I think we all know what we need to do

Y/N: Bring #16 to its knees so that he will not spike again

Coach Ukai: That's right

Takeda- Sensei: Who do we need then?

Coach Ukai; We need Sugawara-san

Y/N: Hmm alright

Sugawara subs in for Tsukishima.Sugawara is up to serve. He serves and aims toward Kyōtani in the front. And as was planned he was late to attack it took a few trials until Aoba Johsai realizes what Karasuno was doing and immediately countered-attack their strategy
