Minutes passed and they continued to enjoy the beautiful sunset silently. The beach wasn't that crowded as they were seated at the deserted part of the beach.

Ayesha's insecurities kept flooding back into her mind no matter how hard she pushed them away.

She needed to voice out her emotions. She finally let her thoughts control her tongue and let out what she had been hiding in her mind for so long.

A: Neenga en kooda iruntha santhosama iruka matenga

He was completely drowned in the peaceful atmosphere that her sudden words just slipped past his mind.

H: huhh?

A: I've been thinking about it.

He turns to face her and looks at her skeptically.

H: What makes you think I won't be happy with you?

A: I just know..

H: Enakum sethu nee en mudivu edukra? Nan sonnena unta?

A: Neenga solala naalum enaku teryum

H: Maa..En ma ipdi yosikra?

His 'Ma' did something to her. She choked on her own words as her eyes teared up. She cleared her throat to continue speaking.

A: Iniku ilenalum oru naal unaku thonum. I am a flawed person Hriday. Oru accident la I completely lost my ability to hear and you know that. Enaku kathu kekathu.

She breaks down completely.

Nee pesra ovvoru varthaiyum I can't hear, I am just lip reading. Iniku roadla, I felt the usual vibrations of moving vehicles, athnala I was casual. I may never know if a vehicle is approaching me. Avan horn adichalum kekathu, nee koptalum kekathu, enaku epo ena agum nu yarkume teryathu. I am at constant risk.

I am a burden Hriday. I am a flawed, disabled person. You deserve someone better...

H (with teary eyes): Oru relationship a thakka vaika, anba velikata, kathala purinjuka, ithu (points ear) thevaila, ithu (points heart) irunthale pothum.

En manasu solrathu un idhayathuku puriya nan pesrathu unaku kekanum nu avasiyam ila Maa.

En kanna paru, unakey puriyum, how much you matter to me nu.

Saying he wipes her tears. His eyes were so intense that she immediately turned away. He cups her cheeks and turns her head to face him.

And nee ena sona...Burden a? Disability a? (scoffs) Maa ulakathula palar ku kekra ability irunthum aduthavan solratha mulusa keto, arakoraya keto, thapu thapa interpret panranga. All those people out there, they hear they listen but they never understand or feel it.

What you have isn't a disability, it's a gift, a specialty. Manushangal la palar asapadra antha thiramai unta iruku.

A: Ana ithunala en manasuku nerukamanavangaloda Kural a keka mudiyama pochu, isai a keka mudiyama pochu, athuku ena solva?

H: Every good thing comes with a price. And in this case, this is the price.

A: Amidst all those who see me as a bane, why do you see me as someone special? Why do you not feel the same as them? She stutters

H: That's because they never saw the real you. En Ayesha va avanga pakave ila. They judged you from the outside. Un nalla manasa avanga pakave ila ma.

Ayesha's heart fluttered. She was too overwhelmed that words refused to come out of her mouth. Tears continued to flow down her cheeks and she hugged him placing her head near his heart.

He wrapped his hands around her and cocooned her in his warm embrace. His words kept on playing in her mind and she wept even harder clutching his shirt collar.

He patted her head to calm her down while a few drops of tears escaped his eyes seeing her like this.

Her sobbings slowly died down and she removed herself from his embrace and looked straight into his glassy eyes.

A: Why do you like me?

H: Oruthangala pudika Karanam venuma ena?

A: Kelvi keta bathil solanum. Thirpi lam kelvi keka koodathu.

H: Hmm...Pudichuruku. Ana En nu lam therla.

A: Therlaya?! Ithu ena bathil? Oru Karanam kooda va ila?

H: Ne ipdi iruka nala than pudichuruku, apdi iruka nala than pudichuruku, because of this particular thing I like you, apdinu lam onu ila. Enaku nee nale pudikum.

His answer left Ayesha flabbergasted and she kept staring at him.

H: Madam oda investigation mudinjuruchuna namma veetuku polama? Time aiduchu

She nodded her head slowly and he stood up dusting his pants and helped her up too. They both walked side by side in silence when they reached the road.

Hriday held Ayesha's hands firmly and looked at either side of the road. A beautiful smile grew on her face and she intertwined her fingers with his.

He looked at her with widened eyes which slowly turned into a smirk seeing her blush. He held her palms even tighter and crossed the road.

They kept glancing at each other throughout the ride. Her tinted cheeks and his cheeky grin were evidence of something new blooming within each other.

Ayesha lived in a silent world. It was eerily quiet for her and she felt alone. And she hated that.

But today amidst her inaudible world, she began to like the silence that she usually hated.

His heartfelt words dissolved her insecurities and she no longer felt alone, she no longer felt weak.

She no longer felt unloved.
