All her life she wanted someone who cared for her genuinely. Someone who showered his love on her infinitely, never gave up on her, supported her, and most importantly accepted and loved her the way she was.

Though at bottom of her heart she knew that this had very less chance of it being fulfilled, she never stopped wishing and dreaming about it.

Seems like God heard her silent prayers and sent her this man who satisfied all the qualities she wished to see in her partner.

Her trance was broken when his large palms held her soft ones firmly. He looked on either side of the road and crossed it pulling her along with him to cross the road. 

While he was busy looking at the road, she was looking at their joined hands.

A smile broke out on her face and her cheeks turned red. 

This caught his attention. He turned his face to the other side and grinned widely muttering a yess. He then looked forward having an innocent face and began walking towards the sand.

Both walked towards the sea, hand in hand, and sat down enjoying the chill breeze. He bought cotton candy for her and her eyes twinkled in happiness. 

He chuckled at her, seeing her eating it like a baby. 

Some cotton candy stuck to her cheeks and he leaned over to rub it.

Her heart stopped when he neared her, his musky cologne hit her senses and she closed her eyes relishing it. His fingers stroked her cheek and she shivered. 

She opened her eyes to meet his brown orbs, and they continued staring at each other.

Boy: Anna...sundal sapdringala!

Hriday jerked away and groaned inwardly. He playfully glared at the boy and the kid smiled sheepishly.

Boy: Anna sundal..the boy dragged his words

H: sari onu kudu

Hriday got it from him.

Boy: kasuuuu..the boy dragged his words again

H (smirks): ithukum athukum sariya pochu..pae da

Boy: akka paru ka, the boy whines

Ayesha opened her purse and gave some money to the boy. He wiggled his fingers at hriday and ran away before hriday could comment.

Hriday turned towards her and forwarded the sundal.

A: ungaluku

H: enaku vena nee sapdu

She got it and began munching looking at him. 

He faced the sea with a peaceful smile plastered on his face and kept brushing his silky-smooth hair once every minute.

He was perfect for her, way beyond what she wished for. She was grateful to God for that.

But will she be enough for him?

Will she be able to keep him happy?

Will her flaws be an obstacle for them?

Most importantly she wanted to know, why he said yes. 

She didn't know the answers to that, but she wanted to know, she needed to know.
