KNOWING HOW MY BODY works, my injuries took longer than expected to recover. However, Ollie had this brilliant idea to speed up my recovery by performing some physical movement, and I'm not just talking about that night. He once had a broken leg, and his doctor said that it'll be good if he tried to walk it off every single day. Of course, without straining himself further, which will cause more problems.

It worked for him, and so it did for me.

For the last three days, twice a day, he's forced me to run around the neighborhood for thirty minutes. The first day was definitely a struggle, but the following days were a piece of cake, and that's how he knew I was ready.

While Ollie trained my movements, I introduced some fighting skills he could use when we leave to the mansion. I can't say he's doing a pretty good job because fighting is a skill that's difficult to learn once you're an adult, and it takes years of practice, just like everything else in this world. On the safe side, he's good with a pistol, and his aim was on point. Well, most of the time.

We're both ready, and tonight's the night we bring down the mansion.

Watch over us, gramps. I'll avenge you tonight.

"Sorry about that night," we crouched down and hid behind a car, inspecting the area to find a way into the mansion. "I didn't know what came over me."

The so-called threatening triple-story mansion was nothing more than a regular house. I was expecting a house that matched the size of the White House, but this mansion looked three times smaller than that.

Though for a small mansion, the security is tight. Three big muscles were guarding the front yard, security cameras on every corner, unfriendly dogs by the back door, and a few members swimming by the pool and playing tennis on the court.

Through the heat sensor binoculars, I perceived two pole dancers in the living room where most members were gathered. At the same time, the second and third floors had fewer members. I wouldn't say it's safe, but it's better than entering through the front door.

It's a good thing we're disguised as a waiter with these uncomfortable uniforms that make my body stiff. Ollie seemed okay with it, though. He's more fond of the boots that come with the outfit.

"What night?"

"You know..." I gestured my lips, which jogged his memory.

"Oh!" He laughs. "Don't be. It's nice, actually."

I scoffed before looking at him.

"Switch positions next time?"

"Don't mind if I do," he smirked. "Though, I doubt I'll last."

"You barely did last that night, so..." I teased. "And that was me being merciful."

He baffled. "It's my first time, so what did you expect?" He's blushing.

I took my eyes off the mansion for a bit and focused on him. He's not saying it, but he looked nervous and afraid. He's sweating, breathing rapidly, and constantly ensuring his pistol is secured in his pocket.

I reached for his cheek as he turned to meet my eyes. My hands automatically adjusted his tousled hair to the back before stroking his cheek. At this point, I'm feeling emotions that I never wanted to. And right now, I'm afraid for him. I'm terrified just thinking about the potential dangers he may endure when I'm not by his side.

"Be safe in there, okay?" I said after a while. "If you're outnumbered, run. Just run out of the mansion or hide. Whatever you do, don't wait for me."

"I'll do my part," he placed his hands over mine. "I'll be alright. You, on the other hand, be careful. Compared to you, my job is quite simple."
