Chapter 4

Dave:

I watched Karkat run up the stairs. I didn't mean to scare him that bad. Was only joking around. Rubbing my eyes under my shades and sighed going up the steps.

He's probably fine now but I should check up on him.

"Yo kitkat, you Ok in there?"

"GO THE FUCK AWAY!"

I sighed and opened the door slowly hearing little sniffles and seeing him on the floor all curled up in a ball. Walking up to him and sitting down next to him, I looked at him with a straight face.

"Hey come on. I was just kidding around. I didn't mean for you to cry."

"I'M NOT C-CRYING! SOMETHING WAS JUST IN MY EYE..."

I looked at him seriously and he just hid his face into his knees again. I sighed and hugged him lightly and rubbed his back lightly shooshing him.

He sniffles lightly and pushed me away.

"I'm fine now..."

"Wow dude. You actually said it in a calm voice."

I chuckled lightly and he growled and crossed his arms.

"Get out of my room or I will beat you and yell at you so loud that you won't be able to hear anymore from your eardrums."

I laughed more and raised my arms telling him Ok and walked out. See I knew he was alright. Walking back to my room I laid down on my bed and sighed lightly looking up at the celling. I then took my shades off having the glow from the moon making my red eyed shine brightly.

"Hmm maybe I'll make it up to him and margin breakfast."

I nodded at the brilliant idea I had and went to sleep.

Karkat:

God that was so weird... I can't believe he hugged me.... but it felt so nice to be hugged by someone. I haven't been hugged since my father started to beat me and Kankri... Shit! Kankri! I wonder if he got back home before my dad did!

I quickly crawled to my bag.

"MOTHERFUCKING! WHERE THE HELL IS MY PHONE!"

I kept digging and digging. I looked in the corner of my bag and in the side pockets. I started to stress out but then I heard a vibration and there was my phone near the door.

"OH THANK GOD."

I stood up and walked over picking it up. I looked at the messages and saw it was Eridan. Uggh I'll answer him later now is the time to see if Kankri is Ok. With that I went through my contacts and waited for him to answer his phone.
