Edward and I had arrived before Alice and Jasper. Edward was leaning against my truck with me against his chest. I was feeling cold, but he gives me warmth. Alice and Jasper informed us that Mr. Molina was asking students about their permission slips. But unfortunately my siren sense goes off, and I feel a familiar bad vibe. Again.

"She's staring. Isn't she?" I whine to Alice, who frowns at my displeasure.

"Just... don't pay her any attention." She said, off the top of her head.

"Kind of hard to, Alice." I replied. "She's annoying and persistent."

"Like a mosquito." Jasper jokes.

I burst out laughing but held my hands over my mouth to muffle it. The three of them smile and chuckle. When I calmed down enough, I held my hand up. Jasper and I high five.

Without meaning to, I glance over at the girl in question. She then started to smile when our eyes met, but when I realized what I had done I quickly turned around. I hid my face in Edward's chest, but hearing his soft purr turn to a low growl, I could tell he was mad.

"I'm sorry, my love." I say to him, afraid to meet his eyes.

"It's alright, Ayame. It was an accident." He whispers to me.

"Ugh! What is so damn special about her anyway?!" I ask annoyed.

"She's Edward's toxic blood singer." Alice reminds me. "He can't help it. But since your half vampire, her blood must be mixing with her obsession with you and trying to call out to you."

"Okay. Now I really want to throw up." I tell them, full of disgust.

"Too bad the treaty exists. If we didn't have to worry about losing you, we could drain her, kill her, then just live peacefully." Jasper snipped.

"Wow, Jasper. That has to be the scariest thing I've ever heard you say." I say, clinging to Edward, unintentionally feeling afraid.

Jasper's eye's widen before he sent me a wave of calmness to me. I exhale softly, then bring my head up to meet his eyes.

"I'm so sorry, Lil sis. I didn't mean to scare you." Jasper says apologetically.

"It's alright. I don't blame you, big brother. You're not the only one who wants her gone." I reply with a sigh. "I wish we could just graduate early so we can get married."

"Then no one would ever be able to tear us apart." Edward says.

"Exactly." I reply. Edward, Alice and Jasper all chuckle as we see Mike walking over to Bella.

I watch as he acts like a dramatic idiot on crack. I couldn't help but roll my eyes. I put my hand against Edward's neck.

"Who in their right mind would want to talk to her?" I mentally ask him.
