"Sigurado ka ba talaga na wala lang 'yon ha?", umupo si Lux sa tabi ko habang kumakain ako ng Takoyaki sa may bleachers namin sa school.

Inirapan ko siya, "For the last time, we just ate together. Huwag mong bigyan ng malisya because I doubt may gusto sa akin yun. Right, Gabriella?", nilingon ko yung katabi ko.

She drinks her gulaman before shrugging, "Ewan ko, pero ang alam ko may crush yun si kuya Ced sa blockmate niya eh"

Yun naman pala eh!

I placed a hand on my hip before turning to Lux with a smug look on my face, "Oh kita mo?"

Kumunot noo niya. "Di naman kasi yun yung point eh. Besides, pwede naman magkaroon ng maraming crush", kinagatan niya yung pizza na hawak niya bago ngitian ako ulit, "Tulad ko laging may options"

I rolled my eyes at her, "Edi ano point mo?"

"Ang point ko is, may gusto ka ba sa kanya?", she asked.

"Of course not!", agad kong sagot before angrily shoving food into my mouth. 

"Okay sabi mo eh pero sayang lang din. Makakamove-on ka kay Lance agad kung hayaan mong magka-crush ka kay kuya Ced", she laughed.

"Hoy huwag niyo naman gawing panakip-butas pinsan ko", singit ni Gabriella, sounding worried.

I let out a sigh, "Don't worry, even if kailangan ko talaga ng band-aid, your cousin is the last man on the list of people I'll even consider", sabi ko which made Lux snicker.

"Ay wow ha -so ibig-sabihin nun ay nakapasok siya sa listahan?", asar niya.

Pinanlisikan ko siya ng mata para manahimik siya, "Don't push it"

After a few minutes of finishing our food, we find ourselves in the bathroom para makapag-ayos bago magstart ulit yung class pero nakasalubong namin ang grupo nila Candy sa loob.

She was putting on lipstick when she briefly glanced at me before looking back at the mirror.

"Oh hey", she greeted, "How's your date with your new boy toy? I didn't know you had it in you after all"

I crossed my arms at her, "What are you saying?"

Tinignan niya ako ulit, but this time she looked at me from head to toe. "Oh you know...", nginitian niya ako. "Replacing Lance with some other guy while he is bravely fighting for your relationship to his dad"

"I'm not-"

"I really have to thank you, honestly", she cuts me off. "At least that'll make it easier for him to accept that he is going to be my fiancè", she bragged.

This bitch. Akala niya talaga isang malaking achievement yung ginawa niyang kalokohan? She basically stole that man's freedom away and chaining her to him at natutuwa pa siya sa pagiging selfish niya!

I scoffed, "And how is that going for you? You really think that forcing someone to marry you will automatically make them like you back?", naramdaman kong hinawakan ni Gabriella yung braso ko to try to calm me down pero I shook her off. 

"Honesty, my expectations were already on the ground but here you are with a shovel. You're fucking dumber than I thought"

Pagkasabi ko nun, I immediately felt the stinging sensation on my cheek from Candy's hard slap. The second I turned my head towards her, I saw na hawak-hawak na ni Lux yung kamay niya. Meanwhile, hawak-hawak naman ng bestfriend ni Candy ang isang kamay ni Lux na sasampal sana pabalik.

"Bitawan mo ako Yuan!", sigaw ni Lux but she didn't take her eyes off of Candy who was in shock with how fast her reflexes were. Napansin kong mas humigpit pa yung kapit ni Yuan kay Lux when she started struggling.
