We ran until our legs burned, and our lungs were on fire. We look back as mutants are butchered and captured, but the robots keep chasing on. Ray turns his head to me. "Run!" He shouts loudly. "Run, and keep going! I will see you... ON THE OTHER SIDE OF TH-" A massive metal hand grabs him by the stomach and lifts him into the air. The F-90 squeezes and squashes, and slams him down into the concrete. His face is drowned in blood, while his body is writhing under lumps of concrete and bricks. He manages to spit the words "Don't look back..." out of his mouth, before he is crushed completely into the ground, dead. I remember, the first time I saw him, when he rescued me, and now I just see a body. Tears trickle down my cheeks, and I scream out violently, and run, faster, faster than I ever have in my life...

After half an hour of running, I stumble across a football stadium, large, bashed and scuffed at the sides, but completely empty. I run inside, but stop when I hear cracks under my foot. I look down, and am horrified by the sight. Skulls, human skulls, cracked up and smashed in, with bits of brain and pink gel dripping out of the ears and holes in them. I gasp and jump back, but just in time to cover my mouth, when I hear the hisses and squeals. Out comes an alien, four legged, with arms carrying a bunch of skulls. I step back, and take in the sight. A bloody mess of cracked skulls, withdrawn from their bodies and their brains taken out. I want to scream out loud, hoping someone will find me. After seeing my friend crushed to tiny bits and not knowing where my family is. I want to just beat the hell out of this monster.

I will kill every last one of them.

My thought trail is cut off, when a green light slams down to the centre of the stadium. I hear a voice call out. A human.

"We're done here, we leave now."

Beneath me the earth shakes. I can feel the ground vibrating underneath my bashed up trainers. I pull up my hood, over my eyes. I'm the last one, and now I have to suffer this.

"Activate the puller..."

The puller? What's that? Then I can feel my body churning and mixing around. I can't keep still on my feet. I fall over, and I can feel myself quickly sinking through the rouble and skulls. This is it. The Earth, slowly being pulled, inside out by the feel of it...

Before I completely black out, I hear "Are you ready for the Burn?" I feel hotter by the second, and I black out.
