*Trinity and Tyla*

I couldn't even finish getting dressed. I ran down the steps to see my dad talking to Joshua. For a minute I thought that he was talking to Damion. I jogged down the steps "Hey Josh" I said to Joshua. Then I went to the door and poked my head out to see Damion pulling up. I walked out to the car in my socks. He got out and hugged me

"Hey ma" He said kissing me on my cheek. I took his hand and went into the house.

"Dad this my friend Damion" He just looked and turned his attention back to the tv. We walked up the steps and into my room.

"How long you here ?" I asked puttin on my shirt.

"not long I have a funeral to go to friday" He said looking down at his phone sitting on my bed.

"Who died ?" I asked plugging my flat irons in the wall.

"My nigga Dave, Somebody shot his ass in the head"

"Damn" was all I could say.

When we arrived to the restaurant we walked in hand in hand. I was really enjoying myself. Then I got a message from Mario saying that he was in La and wanted to see me. And he wanted me to stay at the hotel he was staying in. I replied saying sure. I did miss Mario a lot. I kinda grew close to him. After I finished my steak I ran to the bathroom to throw it up. I really need to make a doctors appointment .

It would be great If I could get one this week because Mario is here. I went back to the table to see Damion on his phone.

"You okay ?" He asked
"Yea I'm fine, can we go ?" I asked with my hand on my head.
"Yea I just paid."

I texted Mario and asked him what hotel he was at. When I made it home I packed me a suitcase and went down the steps to tell my dad.

"Um dad I'm gone be gone for about a week"
"You think you can just walk in out of my house whenever ?" He asked me
"Don't try to play the daddy role now, your late about damn near 9 years"
"You won't talk that way in my house"
I rolled my eyes
"You can cut the whole white man trapped in a black mans body act with me"
"You know what go ahead bye"

I brushed that off my shoulders and headed to the hotel.

When I made it to the hotel and Mario was outside waiting for me. I ran and hugged him.
"Oh my god baby I missed you" he picked me up and hugged me. He got my suitcase out the car and my car got valet.

When we made it up to the room, he always have go all out. He got a presidential suite that was so nice. I went and laid on a bed because I was super tired.

"uh un what you doin get up" mario said coming into the room.
"I'm tired" I said turning my head.
He slapped my but making me jump. "Come on Mario " I wined
"Let's go out to dinner " he said.
"Mario its 10 o'clock and I already ate"
He flung his head back "are you not excited to see me " he asked.
"Yes Mario but did you forget I'm pregnant, now let me sleep"

When I woke up I was in Mario's arms. I missed waking up like this. I went into my suitcase to get my toothbrush to brush my teeth. Looking into the mirror I noticed a ring on my right hand. I gasped.
"Mar-" I was cut off by him in the door frame.
"What's this ?" I said pointing to the ring on my finger
"What does it look like"
I was speechless.
"It's a promise ring, I want you to be my girlfriend"
"Of course" I said hugging him and ending it with a kiss.

When I was done getting dressed and brushing my teeth I FaceTimed Trinity. I put my ring in the camera when she answered. She started screaming.

"Girl you getting married ?"
"Girl no" I said giggling at her question. "It's just a promise ring" I said.
"Did Seth give you that" oh my god. I could feel the room get tense.
"No my boyfriend did, Mario remember I was telling you about him?"
"The light skin one you went to dinner with last night?" Omg I turned around and seen how mad Mario was.
"I'll call you back Trinity"
"Did I fuck up T?" She whispered
"By Trinity" I hung up.
