As Clay stood there at the entrance of the main hall, he looked up at the sky and saw a red star that was glowing very brightly. His face changed and he looked the other way. Does Clay know something is up... why is there a red star? The real question here is why does he ignore it...?
Why haven't the capital members shown up yet? Clay then walked to the main hall's gate and notice he forgot to put down the barrier. He sighed and said a few words making a sword come out from below him and into his hand. Picking up the sword he lightly tapped the barrier and it cracked. Quickly, he put away the sword but as he did that the barrier fell and the western royal guard captain saw the left over flames. Clay looked at the captain and then smiled.
"Welcome royal captain from the western land, I assume you brought your king with you, if not then I'll have to ask you to leave." Clay's face had a small grin as the captain became furious and drew his sword. "I recommend you don't battle me... i'm not as nice as my subordinates...." Clay gave a slight grin, and the captain became frozen in fear. "Now where is your wonderful king." Suddenly a man wearing a long golden coat came from behind the captain of the west.
"Hello young man, I am the king of the west." The man smiled and put his hand out to Clay. Clay bowed and thanked the king for attending the meeting. "Well, I didn't expect you to bow, you may stand young man, what is your name?"
"My name is Clay Hunter, I'm just someone my highness hired for this meeting." The king of the west looked at Clay seeing how he was wearing very little armor and had no weapon on him in sight. Clay stood up and smiled.
"Please follow me your highness of the west." The king smiled and followed Clay, as well as the captain for the west followed Clay into the hall. The king glanced at the captain with a slight grin. As Clay continued walking the king of the east arrived and Clay suddenly vanished leaving the king of the west at the open doors of the main hall. Looking around the captain for the west noticed Clay was already at the front gate to greet the arriving guest. The king of the west went inside the main hall along with his royal guard, they both sat down clueless to how he vanished that quickly.
"Well it seems no one is here to greet you my majesty." The royal guard from the south, wearing a black coat and a mask stood next to the southern king.
"I'm very sorry that I am late." Clay stood there looking at the masked man and the king, as a cloud of black mist dispersed behind him. "I had some ... issues to take care of before greeting you." The masked man grinned under his mask looking at him from head to toe.
"Who are you?" He stood there in front of Clay with his hand on his chin. The king looked at Clay and smiled.
"It seems my guard has taken a liking to you young man, what is your name so I may remember it?"
"My name is Clay Hunter and we should be heading to the main hall for the meeting don't you think."
"We should get going your majesty Clay is correct we will be late if we stand here and keep asking questions that could be answered in the hall." Clay looked at the masked man and smiled.
"If you don't mind can you escort your king to the main hall, I have some preparations I need to tend to for the meeting."
"Surely, I will be glad to do so, my king please follow me." The king from the south then left with the masked man to the main hall as Clay stood there clenching his fist with anger and remorse. If only I was allowed to kill you.... Clay walked away into the shadows leaving behind nothing an ordinary person could see. As Clay left more people arrived including Clare.
What will happen when everyone is at the meeting...?
