I grabbed Luke's hand under the table and started playing with his fingers and tracing patterns onto his palm.We were both currently situated in our last lesson EVER! of cause the lesson just had to be maths which I find mind numbingly boring.
To most people it must look like me and Luke are a thing. I mean I wish we were, I'm not going to lie. I've always had a secret thing for him but we have been best friends since we were in diapers, I couldn't risk recking that over a little crush could I?
"Okay pupils thanks for Your attention you are free to leave I will see you all later at graduation." Mrs Lily droned on.
I turned to Luke and sent him the goofiest grin in history.
"WE'RE FREE GET OUT OF MY WAY BITCHES" Michael screamed running from the back of the classroom straight to the front, knocking most people's work off and receiving a dirty look from the teacher.
I laugh at Michael before me and Luke both get up to shove our way threw the crowd of buzzing students. Luke grabbed my arm on the way out obviously trying to guide me threw the crowd to our group without me getting lost or worse, falling over and getting trampled on. Yes, that has happened before, it was very traumatic.
I get Yanked forward by a group of rowdy freshmen obviously happy to have finished there years work.
"Jess, stay with me" Luke shouted trying to reconnect with me.The crowd pulled me away slightly so it was just our fingers touching, okay cheesy as this may be I just can't help myself
"Jack i'll never let go, I will never let go Jack, never let go." I spoke out dramatically.
Luke rolled his eyes at me trying to suppress a grin at my awkward personality.
"Schools over! can you believe that's it?!" Ashton yelled in my ear as soon as I rejoined our group.
"No Ash I can't just think how old we are. I mean your practically a grandpa." I said.
Ash fake gasped "am not grandma."
I stuck my tongue out at him before we both jogged to catch up with our group who had slowly wondered off while me and Ash had been talking.
"Cal-pal" I screech will leaping onto Calum's back in a kind of failed piggy back.
"Jessy wessy!" Cal squeezed back in a false girls voice, causing us to both laugh obnoxiously loud.
I climbed down after receiving quite a few odd looks. I scanned the group looking for Luke to ask him what the plan was for graduation tonight. I frowned and turned to Cal when I couldn't see him any where.
"Cal where is Luke?" I quiz.
Calum smirks the kind of proud smirk.
"He is over there" he says while pointing a long finger over to the left. I spot Luke talking to a girl who looks around our age. She has golden hair and pretty much the die for body. *sigh body goals*
"Who's she?" I ask nosily feeling a tinge of jealousy surge threw me.
"That's Elissa." he smirks
Michael and Ashton perk up at the sound of her name.
"Where?" Michael says excitedly.
Calum points him in the direction.
"God she is so hot." Michael sighs.
"I would so bang her." Ashton adds making me cringe.
"Guys I'm still here" I laughed.
They ignored me to occupied with their own conversation.
"Why is Luke taking to her?" Michael says.
"Oh well apparently they have been flirting for a while now. There really close and Luke has this massive crush on her like I mean who wouldn't. I'm so jealous of him." Calum says.
Wow jealously is a bitch. my face must drain of colour and a lump forms in the back of my throat. It's stupid I know but I feel as if I have been cheated on. I sigh running a hand threw my windswept hair.
"I'm gonna go see you at graduation." I mumble knowing that they probably won't even care or hear.
I walk home slowly feeling sorry for my self I know it's dumb considering I should be happy for my best friend but I'm just not.

*just before the dance of graduation*
I'm currently positioned in front of my mirror trying to decide what look I'm going for when my phone starts ringing.
"Hello?" I speak.
"Jess hey! where did you go?"Cals voice rang threw the speaker.
"I came home to get ready." I speak glumly without my usual peppy tone it sounded odd.
"Oh any way about that who are you going with?"
Shit, no one asked me.
"Emm...well you know Edward" I say trying to sound natural.
"Edward, who is Edward I don't think you have ever mentioned him? what's his last name?" Cal questions.
"EmM...Cullen?" I squeak out it sort of sounded more like a question then a statement.
"Edward Cullen, as in the vampire" Calum's laughter rattles down my ear.
"Come on Jessica who are you going with?"he says once he had composed him self.
"Emm well no one." I stutter out.
"No one"
"Well yeah, no one wanted to go with me." I say sounding like bus kill.
"Oh Jess why didn't you ask one of us I would have taken you. Luke would have definitely."
"I didn't think Luke was going with any one either? He said we were gonna be the party poopers." I said concern ringing threw my voice I definitely don't want to be the only left out one.
"He is taking Elissa." Calum sighed.
"Oh..oh of cause" I say trying to stay composed.
"Jess do you want me to cancel and go with you."
"What no, no way the poor girl you cancel on doesn't deserve to go alone. Cal who are you going with?"
I could almost picture him smiling "Jade, She is Elissa's best friend. personally I think she is hotter I mean biggest boobs ever."
"Err Cal it's me not Mikey."
"Sorry" he chuckles
"Okay well I'm gonna finish getting ready and think of some kind I plan which doesn't involve getting changed and watching Netflix."i say
"Good look with that." Calum sing songs.
