Third P.O.V

Something was wrong about Aoi, (Y/N) just couldn't put their finger on it.

As a director, it was normal to come across peculiar actors, but (Y/N) found that Aoi was especially odd.

(Y/N) didn't originally think of her that way, their first meeting was actually quite romantic.

As the director of the movie, being late to the audition is definitely on the 'do not do' list.

I left thirty minutes early! Why is traffic so bad?!

At this rate, they would barely make it on time.

Rushing into the building, (Y/N) ran towards the room where auditions are being held.

On the way they passed three girls cornering another girl. (Y/N) stopped to observe since these girls are most likely here for auditions.

"You don't deserve to be here."

The ringleader sneered at the girl. The girl whispered something back, but (Y/N) was unable to hear.

"You wench!!"

The ringleader tried to slap the girl, but (Y/N) intervened.

"I don't think you are suitable for this roll."

(Y/N) said coldly.

Today's audition was for the innocent female lead, and the girl who was bullying the other girl had a more villainous aura.

The bullied girl looked pitifully at (Y/N).

"Thank you for helping me, my name is Aoi."

"Don't thank me yet."

(Y/N) said sharply. They looked at the ringleader.

"You would be more suitable for the villainous supporting female lead. If you write your name and number down, I can schedule an audition for you."

'Aoi' and the other girl's face looked completely shocked.

The girl recovered from her shock.

"My name is Amber Hill, thank you for this opportunity!"

Amber had stars in her eyes as she walked away after leaving her information on a piece of paper.

(Y/N) then realized that Aoi was the only one left in the hallway.

"You should get ready for auditions."

(Y/N) said before walking away.

Turns out Aoi was perfect for the female lead, so she was casted. But as time went on, (Y/N) felt like she was always wearing a mask of kindness.

(Y/N) confirmed this theory when they realized Aoi kidnapped them.

They should have been suspicious, especially after some actors went missing and Aoi suggested having a crew dinner at an unknown restaurant.

"Why did you kidnap me?"

(Y/N) had already been kidnapped by a psycho before, so this was nothing compared to what they faced before.

"You haven't figured it out yet?"

Aoi came close to where (Y/N) was tied up.

"Is it that obvious?!"

(Y/N) snapped.

Aoi suddenly took off her shirt. (Y/N) closed their eyes and looked away.

"What are you doing!?"

"Look at me darling~"

(Y/N)'s eyes popped open at the nickname.

Only one person has ever called them that...

"It can't be?!"

I thought she died in the fire!

"They never found my body."

(Y/N) saw the scar they had given her four years ago.

"Didn't you miss me?~"

(Y/N) couldn't believe they didn't recognize her until now.

"I would never miss you..."

(Y/N)'s freaky psycho....

"Irene."

Irene smiled like she had won the lottery.

"You do remember me!"

"You kidnapped me!"

"You stabbed me!!"

"I was trying to escape!!!"

Irene took a deep breath.

"Fighting is not healthy in a relationship."

"We don't have one!"

Irene ignored (Y/N)'s shout.

"We should hug it out!"

"Don't come near me!!"

(Y/N) hissed.

"Darling your resistance should stop. Between faking your death and subduing you with drugs, there's no chance of escape. I made ONE mistake in the past, it won't happen again."
