The door opening in my room woke me up from my sleep. As I open my eyes I see Cordelia walk in.
"We have arrived at the Capital, get changed into something quickly. Your prep team is waiting for you" She said before walking out.
I got out of bed, hoping that the next one I sleep in would be just as comfy. I changed into my reaping clothes again, not knowing if I was allowed to take any of the other outfits that my room had.
As I walk onto the train platform in the Capital I was immediately surrounded by 3 rainbow-looking capital people.
"Oh, Sawyer look at the girl, such beautiful blonde hair," the one with light pink skin and hair said as she ran her fingers through my hair.
"I know I know, when she walked off the platform I immediately knew that she was our girl," the other one with orange skin said, he must be Sawyer.
"Let's get her ready for tonight shall we"
I was then hustled into a building where I was to be prepped for the opening ceremonies tonight. After going through hours of pain as the hair is being ripped from my body and washed in hundreds of lotions and body products I was ready.
My stylist whose name was Floriana decided to have my hair made up with beads that reflect light so that I will be noticed when the spotlight is on me.
"Beautiful" She exclaimed as she fitted in the last bead "Now it's time for the dress" my other two prep team members Nxy and Rose bounded over with excitement
"You're going to love it, "Rose said
"Yes, it's beautiful yet tells everyone that you're from District 7" Nxy added
Floriana clapped her hands gaining our attention
"Now, now ladies let's join Sawyer and help Merida into her dress"
I was tugged into a separate changing room, where my prep team fitted me into my dress
"It's beautiful," Rose said wiping a fake tear from her eye "outstanding work Floriana"
"Oh thank you, Ro" Floriana replied with pride "Now it's time to head to the parade, ooo I'm so excited"
