About the author: Hello, amazing Wattpadders! I'm Jennifer Farwell, a Canadian-born California girl who writes YA romance and celebrity love stories here on Wattpad. I've been writing for as long as I can remember, which is probably since the day I picked up a navy blue crayon as a toddler and started scribbling all over freshly painted walls. I grew up in Thunder Bay, Canada, and now make my home in Los Angeles. One of the most exciting developments in my writing life was being invited to join Wattpad Stars in 2019. Along with being featured on Wattpad, some of my Wattpad stories have been featured on Cosmopolitan.com and by Marriott and Fangirlish.

I've always had a passion for painting scenes with words and bringing new worlds and characters from my imagination to life, and I've always been captivated by a good love story, which is why I write so much about love and relationships.

Cayden "Deni" Indigo is the hottest teen pop star on the charts these days, selling out stadiums in minutes and idolized by her fans. But when a bomb goes off at her concert and she sees her fans injured and killed, the music career that was once Deni's childhood dream becomes ground zero for her biggest nightmare.

Haunted by flashbacks and struggling with anxiety, Deni can't get on stage without having panic attacks. Bullies attack her on social media, blaming her for the deaths at her show, and she can't leave her house without the paparazzi hounding her. Deni's mom decides she needs a break from L.A. and her superstar life for any chance at healing. That's how she finds herself spending the summer at a lake in Northwestern Ontario, Canada, barred from her phone and social media.
