Summary:

Fifteen-year-old Clary Fray goes to the Pandemonium Club with her best friend, Simon Lewis. Clary notices a couple Sneaking off in a storeroom. Then she notices two boys following them and one of them is armed with what appears to be a knife. No one else notices them so she gets Simon to find help whiles she follows them in.

Them she sees something she isn't supposed to and is forced into a another world within her own. To add to all this, her mother is kidnapped by her father whom she didn't know existed because her mother hired a warlock, Magnus Bane to protect her from her memory's.

Clary has to save her mother and in order to do that she needs to regain her memory's sending her on a journey of Mystery, Forbidden love, betrayal and war.

This book is full of plot twists, mind bottling theories that will leave you craving for more. Seriously once I started reading I couldn't Stop.

Although like any average person, you need sleep but I found myself dreaming about the book. It has taken control of my life!

Haha, but seriously Cassandra Clare created a vivid, accurate parallel world with outstanding characters, lots of history and a dash of humor to equal the nirvana that is the mortal instruments series.

I found myself drawing runes all over my body (believe me, you will do it to) And found myself questioning every aspect of our mundane world cause this book shows you nothing is what it seems to be.

Although you may fall head-over-heels for the book (like me, no shame!) or you will hate it with a passion.

"One mans trash is another mans treasure" is quote used a lot in society but definitely describes the reactions to city of bones perfectly.

So whether you love it or hate it all depends on perspective but in order to find out you need to read it... Will you?
