The coolness of the asphalt on which she lay stretched the brown-haired girl with the sky-like look. With a trembling hand she brushed her rebellious hair behind her ear. Her eyes were heavy and she felt a severe headache that kept her from thinking freely. Countless questions flashed through her mind.
She didn't know.
She didn't know who she was, how she got to that place or what that place was.
So, getting up easily, she began to look with interest at everything around her. She felt in danger.
The feeling that something was wrong was predominant in her mind. She could hear footsteps coming from behind her, but she didn't have the courage to turn around."Hello, miss. Why are you walking the streets so deserted alone? Don't you know it's dangerous?"
A mysterious stranger addressed the confused girl, startling her.She turned to him and examined the stranger carefully. He looked over forty years old. His hair was black and shiny with eyes pale green. For a few moments the girl said nothing. She tried to find something in the man, but she couldn't. A strange energy surrounded him, creating fear inside her.
"You... Do you know me? Do you know who I am? Where are we? How did I get here?"
She began to ask him with a trace of hope in her voice and soul.
"Of course, my dear. Come with me and I'll tell you everything on a little snack, what do you say?"
The man said, keeping that goose-skin smile on his face.
Without answering, the girl analyzed the danger in which she rushed. She was alone, with no memories and no defense. Just light prey in a world that seemed dangerous.
"All right, I'll come with you."
Replied the innocent brunette, who was beginning to feel a trace of worry in her soul, thinking that maybe it was just paranoia. For a while, she followed the man to the heart of the forest. She watched the sun go down lazily in the air. That was the message that told the nightlife that their time was coming.
Frightening sounds covered the forest. The animals awoke from their daytime sleep and prepared for easy prey, as she was.Suddenly, the man stopped. The girl accidentally hit his broad back and fell on the raw grass.
The shadows of the trees slid on the soft grass like ghosts, encompassing various shapes. A strange feeling haunted the now-frightened brunette.
The moment she looked at the man, it made her realize that something was wrong. She knew she hadn't made the right choice since she said she would go with him.But she was desperate.
She needed help. But she didn't seem to get it right.
She felt in danger.
She felt as if evil had invaded the heart of the forest, surrounding and threatening her. It was as if a wave of danger was rushing at her, wanting to devour her apparent innocence.
"I don't understand, it's like you said we were going to a snack so you could tell me everything."
She said in a trembling voice, the company of that stranger making her feel more and more overwhelmed by a deadly fear.
"What a silly girl!"He replied, laughing out loud.
"I don't know who you are and how you got to this place. All I know is I'm hungry. And you look like a perfect snack." He continued, his voice getting thicker.
