I wake up the next morning and strech out. I'm not expecting Connor to be beside me, and he's not. I've gotten use to it. I throw the blanket off of me and sit up. I take my phone from the table and look at it.

From Connor: Plane was delayed, won't be home until late tonight. Tell Aria I have a surprise for her. Oh..and I may have a surprise for you too.

I smirk and put the phone back down on the table and stand. I walk sleepily to the bathroom and take a shower. I get out, brush my teeth, put my clothes on, then style my hair. I walk out of the bathroom and into the hallway. The stench of vomit would knock you down.

"Aria?", I call, walking towards her room. Her door is open and she isn't in it. So, I check the bathroom. And sure enough, there she is, puking into the shower. "Oh sweet heart". She turns around and I see the puke is all over her. (A/N: I am so sorry..) She starts crying and comes towards me.

I grab a towel and wet it, then start dabbing her face and her hair. "Are you okay enough to take a bath?", I ask her. She nods her head and I start the water. "Stay by the potty, if you need to puke, puke there. I'm gonna go check on Joseph and then pick out your clothes". She nods and I walk out of the room.

I go into my room again and see Joseph still sleeping, so I leave him alone. I walk into Aria's room and pick out a cute little shirt and some stretchy short. No one wants to be in something uncomfortable when they're sick. I put them on her bed then walk back into the bathroom.

Aria is sitting by the toilet, looking down at the floor. She looks up at me when I come in. I turn the bath water off and help her out of her clothes, then put her in the bath. I take my time helping her wash her hair and her body. She's finally clean and I take her out and wrap a towel around her.

I help her to her room and put her in her clothes. "How do you feel about staying in bed all day and watching netflix? Hm? You can stay in daddy's bed if ya want", I say. She nods and I pick her up and take her to my room. I put her in the bed and tuck her in, then turn Netflix on.

Joseph wakes up crying to I take him out of his crib. I prepare his bottle then feed him, then I change him. "I'm gonna take Joseph out of here so he doesn't get sick too, okay?", I ask Aria. She doesn't answer and I see that she's fast asleep. I pull Joseph's bouncy thing into the living room and lay him down in it.

I go into the kitchen and find a small bucket then put just a bit of water in it, then put it by Aria, just in case she gets sick when she wakes up. Then I change the litter box and put food in the cat bowl.

I start cleaning up the kitchen a bit. Washing dishes, sweeping, mopping, all of that. Then I straighten up the rest of the house. At about 2, I finally sit down with my lunch and eat. After I finish, I turn the tv off and go and check on Aria.

I wash up my mess then go upstairs and check on Aria. I feel her head and feel that she's burning up. "Baby girl, wake up", I whisper. Her eyes open soflty and sits up, looking around. "I have to go get the thermometer and I'm gonna put it under your arm". She nods and I go to the kitchen and get it out of the medicine cabinent, then go back up to the room.

I put it under her arm and it reads 103.2. I put it down on the table and Aria looks at me. "Does your head hurt or anything?", I ask. She nods her head again and I help her out of bed. "I'm gonna call your doctor, then see if we can get you an appointment?". She doesn't answer, just stares at me.

I grab my phone and dial Connor's Mom's number. I really need some mother adive. "Hi Mrs. Franta, I need your help. Aria is really sick, she has a fever and she's throwing up and everything, should I wait until Connor gets home or should I take her now?", I ask.

"Hm, well it does seem pretty hard for only one parent to go, and this is your first time dealing with a sick child. I would wait until Connor gets home, and if she's worse or the same, go on and take her", she replies.

"Thank you so much, Talk later", then we hang up. I check on Joseph really quick and see if he needs changed. I pick him up and make his bottle, then put the bottle in his mouth and go back to Aria, still feeding Joseph.

"Hey sweetheart, we're gonna wait until daddy gets home and see if you're any better? How are you feeling?", I ask. She doesn't answer again, just looks at me. "Are you hungry? Do you want some chicken nuggets? Or a milk shake?". She shakes her head slowly and I nod and walk back out.

I sit on the couch with Joseph and take the bottle out of his mouth. "What're we gonna do? Sissys sick and.. we don't know where Con is", I say, talking to the baby like it's my therapist once again.
