Chapter 8- Luke and Kyle

I watch Aria as she swings on the swings with a small blonde child. I sit at the park bench and sigh. Again, Connor is at a YouTube thing. I look over at the stroller which has Joseph inside and see he's alseep. Lazy hoe.

I take out my phone as someone sits on the other side of the bench, away from me and Joseph. I don't look up to see if its someone I know, I just continue to look at my phone.

"Excuse me, sir?", the person says. I look up and see a guy. Maybe a couple years younger than me . He had blonde hair and he had Blue eyes. Not that I was looking into them. Okay I was, don't tell Connor. "Are you that little girls father? The one that's swinging with the little blonde boy?". I smile and nod my head.

"Yep, she's mine. Did she do something?", I ask. He shakes his head and laughs lightly. "Okay, good".

"That's my boy she's swinging with", he explains. "They seem to be having a lot of fun together. And this is a very weird question but Kyle doesnt have any friends. And he really wants to see the movie about the robot alien thing. But I don't Want it to be just me and him, I dont think he'd enjoy that. So, I guess what I'm asking is would you and your little girl wanna go to the movies tonight?", he asks. Damn this boy is forward!

"Excuse me if I'm taking it the wrong way, but I have a husband", I reply. His expression changes but he does his best to hide it.

"Um, then how about we take our kids as friends? I promise I won't make a move on you. And if your husband wants to come, that's good too", he says. "I'm Luke, by the way".

I shake his hand. "I'm Cameron. I'm sure that wouldn't be a problem. I'll talk to my little girl and get back to you", I reply. He smiles and we Exchange numbers.

I stand up and Aria comes running to me. "Hi!", she says. I greet her back and the 3 of us go to the car. I put the babies in, then the stroller, then get in the car myself.

When I arrive back home I get everyone out and go inside. After I get my babies fed and Happy I sit down at the table and start looking through the news paper.

Aria comes dancing in and sits acrossed from me. "You met Kyle's daddy", she says. I make a "mhm" noise. "Were you nice?". I shrug and she gasps. I finally look up.

"Kyle was fine. I was nice. Anything else, darling?", I ask. She shrugs. "Kyles dad asked if me and you wanted to go to the movies and watch the new cartoon movie as well, would you like to?". She nods her head frantically and I go back to reading my magazine.

"CALL HIM!", She yells. I groan and get out my phone and find him in my contacts.

"Hi, how's tonight sound for the movie? Great, see you there", I say into the phone.

I hear a cough come from the door and see Connor standing there, an angry look on his face. "Who the hell was that?".
