Lalo was completely smitten with Lucy. He needed to know everything about her and then he did what he does best. Watching. All throughout the dark and rugged streets he followed her.

Someone was following her. Suspicions became clear as what she describes as a grey Monte Carlo tailed her at a distance. She first noticed it parked outside when leaving the little corner shop.

She had no idea what to do hide maybe? But where? She was now heading into the area she lived in. It wasn't a safe area at all. Unwanted characters lurked drug addicts and muggers and God knows who else.

Lalo couldn't believe his angel had to walk in this shithole on a daily basis, he instantly had the urge to throw her over his shoulder and take her away to a secure place. But he knew he would have to take his time and gain her trust.

Lucy felt surprised that she was still alive living in such a place her apartment block wasn't any better. 'I guess this is the night' she thought with a quick glance at the car behind her. A rush of anxiety rushed through her body as the car was closer than she expected. She pulled out her phone from the pocket of her black jacket, ready to ring anyone for help as she quickens her pace.

Lalo realised how frightened she was and parked his car at the side of the road getting out

"Hey Lucy!" He called out making her pause and turn to him upon hearing the familiar masculine voice. Lalo smiled and approached her, the look on her face reminded him of a weary little stray kitten as she straightened her jacket looking at him almost teary eyed.

"I'm sorry for giving you such a fright I was making sure you got home safely, woman so..." He tucked a piece of her auburn hair behind her ear admiring her emerald like eyes staring back at him, Lucy felt uneased at such a comforting display of affection "Fragile should never walk home so late and especially in a place like this." Lucy took a step back slightly intimidated by his height towering over her. "Um..." She tried find the words "I appreciate your concern sir but-"

"Don't tell me you forgot my name already querida (darling)." He interrupted with a chuckle.

"Lalo, I appreciate your concern but-"

"There it is! Sounds so good coming from those pretty lips." Lucy couldn't help but blush slightly even if the whole him following her situation was creepy. He was very attractive it was hard to deny. From his well-groomed moustache to his stylish button-down and a belt that reminds her of an old western cowboy movie she would watch with Milo.

"As I was saying I'm more capable of walking alone it's not that far now thank you and goodbye." Lucy said politely turning around, when suddenly Lalo gripped her arm not too tightly. He would never dream of hurting her. "I'll walk with you."

Lucy looked at him taken back all she wanted to do was to go home. But she chose not to argue with him and nodded her head. Lalo loved the sense of submission she was giving off "good girl." He smirks.

It wasn't that long until they got to her apartment block. The faint barking of dogs and people arguing could be heard. Lucy thought he would leave her be, but Lalo held the door open for her like the gentlemen he was and gestured her inside. "Come. I don't trust anyone especially in a place looking and smelling like this." Lucy agreed with him.

She couldn't count how many times she held onto her life while walking through the corridors of the building. And now she was getting escorted by a handsome, yet enigmatic man. They proceeded down the corridor towards the elevator. "I think its best if we use the stairs, I almost got trapped in there yesterday." Lalo chuckled as they turned towards the staircase.
