Laura's POV

I wake up to my alarm clock going off at 7am. I get out of my bed and walk to the bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face. On the way back to my room I look downstairs and see my drunk dad passed out on the sofa. Man is he some father. Then I walk back into my room to get ready.

*walks to her closet and picks out an outfit then goes to her mirror and stares/talks to herself*
"No wonder nobody likes me. Look at all these bruises and cuts on my body"
*sighs and puts on a yellow long sleeve crewneck with white skinny jeans and my old black converse then walks out the door*

Ross POV
I woke up and sighed at the thought of a new school today. Man I am not ready for that. I mean sure every girl and jock is gonna drool over me like my other school, but that's really annoying. With that I got up and walked to my bathroom to brush my teeth then walked back to my room getting dressed. I put on some black jeans with a plain white V-neck and put on my black converse. I have to make a good impression today. After I was done, my mom took me to school. We had to go into the office so the lady , I'm guessing her name was Mary by her name tag on her dark grey suit. She have us our schedule and sent us to the classes.

Still Laura's POV

I walk through the school doors and notice that nobody is in the halls so I thought I must've been early. Glancing at my watch on my wrist I notice that it's 8:39!!! I HAVE ONE MINUTE TO GET TO CLASS!!!
I started bolting down the hallway til I turn a corner and run slam into somebody causing me to drop all my books and fall ontop of them. Damn that hurt!
???: "OH MY GOSH I AM S-... S-sorry" *their eyes lock*

Laura: *looking into his eyes also* n-no I'm sorry

???: You have really p-pretty eyes *smiles at her then realizes what he just said* I -I mean..um..let me uhh...help you up! *helps her up*

Laura: *shyly smiles* thanks

???: "No problem. But I don't think I caught your name.

Laura: *looks at him* Laura...Laura Marano. And yours?

???: Ross Lynch. *smiles*
