Abused By You

Chapter 7

Previously:

Ross: WHO DID THIS TO YOU?!!
Laura: M-my DAD!! (Stands there Sobing)
Ross: .......

Now

Ross: (Huffs with anger but tries to set that aside right now for Laura)
WH-what....your dad?

Laura: (nods sobbing)

Ross: Come here (pulls her to him covering her body with a towel)
Shh..it's okay..everything's gonna be alright he whispered
"Laura go ahead and get changed then we can go in my room and talk and I will wait for you in my room"

Laura: (nods. Shuts the door then changes and finds Ross in his room)

Ross: (pats the spot next to him) Sit down

Laura POV
After I changed Ross told me to meet him in his room. He has a lot of  interesting things in her. I walked in and sat down beside him on his soft fluffy yellow sheets that were on his bed. We sat in an akward silence and I had hoped he wasn't going to ask before Ross spoke up..Spoke too Soon

Ross: (look at her) Why? Why Laura....Why did he do that to you?

Laura: I- I don't really want to talk about it (slowly looks up at him)

Ross: (nods understandingly) But you are not going back there.

Laura: WHAT?! WHERE AM I SUPPOSED TO GO THEN ROSS? I DONT HAVE ANY OTHER FAMILY TO STAY WITH!

Ross: (is so surprised he looses his train of thought) o-oh my gosh Laura come here

Laura: (jumps in his arms holding onto him tightly afraiding to let go)

Ross: you can stay with me Laura. It okay don't worry. (Whispers calming words into her ear to help calm her down before he realizes her breathes has slowly decreased into a steady pace and realizes she fell asleep on him. He gently lays her on his king size bed and covers her up then lays down beside her. He Softly kisses her forehead and whispers
"I won't let him ever hurt you again...or anybody. I'm never gonna let you go. Your safe here. And I'm gonna protect you every single day. Don't worry Laura".
He talks himself into a deep sleep holding Laura right beside him, protecting her, making sure her and everything's okay.
