Liv's POV

After we had a fight last evening, Matty and I had some cute making out and making up session, and it lasted until late in the night. It probably was around 3 am we finally fell asleep. The fight was actually about nothing, he wasn't home as much as he used to be and I got scared he had found another girl that was better than me and he liked spending time with her more than being home with me, but he reassured me there was absolutely nothing wrong with me and he still liked me as much as he always used to, and there was no one else.

When I woke up the next morning, later than usually but we didn't have work today because it was Sunday, luckily. Matty was facing my back right now so I turned around to saw him still fast asleep and I ran my hand through his hair and waited until he woke up.That took a while, he was probably really tired, I didn't know for how long he had been awake after I fell asleep first.

After half an hour or so he finally fluttered his eyes open and smiled at me. "Hey Livvy" he said smiling at me, his eyes still looking sleepy and tired. "Good morning baby"

I smiled at how cute he was when he just woke up and kissed his nose softly. "Good morning to you too, sleepy head" I didn't really mean the last part, I was mostly teasing him. He just laughed when I kissed his nose and pulled me closer while softly humming You've been so good to me

He looked at me when he stopped singing, I started singing along halfway during the song or something, I knew the song, he knew it was one of my favourite songs but I didn't listen to it for a while because I had been really busy with work. That was also one of the reasons of the fight yesterday, but I was going to make up for all of that on this beautiful Sunday. It was not only a Sunday but also a sunny day so I looked at him.

"Stay here Matty" I told him and walked away to the kitchen and hoped he would actually listen to me and stay in bed because I was making him breakfast and I was going to bring that to him. I decided on pancakes because it was the easiest thing that we had here, we didn't buy any groceries yesterday so we really needed to do that tomorrow. When I finished some pancakes I put them on a plate and took everything we needed with us, I had made some coffee earlier while waiting on the pancakes so I put it in a cup and looked for something else to take with me and found a bar of chocolate. We both loved that, but it wasn't time for that yet. When I walked back to our bedroom I was surprised to actually still see Matty in the bed and I gave him the pancakes, smiling at him as he softly kissed me.

"Did you plan on this or is this spontaneously? I don't mind actually, don't answer it I love you"

"Love you too, but this is not everything" I said.

<<<<About two hours later>>>>

I got into the car, I got my drivers license about a year ago so I could drive us where we needed to go. Matty kept asking me where we were going every 20 seconds but I refused to tell him anything because it had to be a surprise. I saved some food earlier so we could do this and I took him to a really big farm kind of thing, where there were large parts of grass at the back where we could have a picknick. When we arrived there, there already was a blanket and a basket with more food than I even took with me, and I unpacked everything and made him sit. The blanket was for 10 persons but since we were with only two, I sat down next to him and leaned my head on his shoulder while we were eating donuts, bagels and other really good stuff.

When we finished eating, and probably gained some weight too, Matty looked at me and he actually was looking really nervous.

"Liv? Can we get up for a second?" He asked me and I nodded, not really knowing what was going to happen.

When we were both standing he pulled out a box from somewhere and sank down to one knee. "Dear Liv, I didn't know you were planning on doing this and I was planning on doing this next week but I think this is the perfect moment. We have our fights and arguments but it always only takes a little push to pull out through, and every time we make up I love you even more than I did before. Liv, will you marry me?"

At this point I didn't know what to say, so I just managed to get a "y..yes of course Matty!!" out of my mouth, completely taken aback by what just happened and not really realizing it yet. "I love you too" were the words I whispered to him when he put the ring on my finger and just before he kissed me, my boyfriend, no wait, my fiancee.
