Simone rolled her eyes, checking the time on her phone which had read 7:15. She propped her bookbag up on the kitchen table and watched Celeste with a concerned look. "You so dramatic for what?"
"I'm sorry." Celeste apologized wiping her tears with her fingers. "You've grown up so fast! I'm so proud of you Sisi!" She got up off of the island table and reached her arms out so she could dramatically hug Simone side to side. Simone scrunched her face up feeling Celeste wrap her arms around her neck. "I'm going to college, not getting married."
"Exactly!" Maimai exclaimed, standing between the entrance of the living room. "Sis you went from fighting delusional and dickmatized bitches inside a school hallway to attending an hbcu! That's progress!"
