Chapter.02: Home Sweet Home

"Are you fucking serious? What is this dumpster!?"

Crowley had to lead them through the path, passing through the many numbers of school facilities. Some trees blocked the path before it opened up and showed the supposedly their house in this world.

The place itself was huge. It is surrounded by black metal fences and trees. Because it was nighttime, the lantern around the house lit up, creating a comfy and beautiful atmosphere. However, the major problem was the house itself. Even from afar, the twins knew that the condition of that building was bad.

"What do you mean by the dumpster?" Crowley asked. "This place has a certain charm to it."

"Yeah, sure. Charm." Yuuto said.

"Now, now. Let's go inside."

And just as they predicted, the inside of the house was a mess. It's like a big typhoon came and wrecked everything. Peeled wallpapers, dirty rugs, messy furniture, cobwebs, dusty floors, and even holes in the ceiling! The twins' faces grew solemn, especially Yuuto.

"I want to clean. I want to clean." Yuuto kept repeating the same words over and over again while staring at the mess.

"Staying here will at least keep you out of the rain," Crowley stated.

"With all of those holes in the ceiling? Tough luck." Yuugo rolled his eyes.

Ignoring their complaint, Crowley had walked towards the door to leave the dorm. "I'm going back to do more research. Make yourself at home."

"Oi, wait, old ma-...!"

And the door closed with a bang.

Both twins were silent until they heard the sound of the rain hitting the roof. Some waters leaked from the holes and fell to the floor.

"Let's go, Yuuto. Maybe we can find cleaning essentials in this place." Yuugo put his arm on his brother's shoulder, leading them to explore the house to find mops or anything that could help them fix this place.

They started by exploring the first floor. The first floor comprises four bedrooms, a kitchen and dining room, the dorm lounge, the parlor, one bathroom, and a storage room.

All bedrooms had beds, a closet, a nightstand, shelves, and an enormous window. The window gave such an amazing view of the outside of the dorm. It would be a good idea to plant some flowers and made a garden. One of the bedrooms on the first floor was bigger, with double beds, a small table with a sofa, a fireplace, and a big mirror on the wall. This must be the dorm leader's room.

"So, 101 is for the dorm leader, and 102 to 104 are for the students," Yuuto said while drawing the map of the dorm inside a book that he had found previously. He was not an artist, but this could help them both tremendously while navigating this place.

"Hoo..." Yuugo exclaimed in wonder. "The bathroom is shared. There are like at least 10 stalls on each side, so that's gotta be 20 stalls."

"Shower is good and all, but I want my hot bath." Yuuto sighed.

"Maybe we can ask the old man for one."

The kitchen was equipped with all the cooking utensils, even though it was old-looking. Yuugo found some items that he didn't recognize. It must be magic-activation tools. The dining room was also big. It housed a gigantic table with 10 chairs on each side. There is also a big chair at the head of the table.

"Ah, the broom and the other cleaning items are in the storage room," Yuuto said. "No vacuum or Roomba. Only some old brooms. Well, better than nothing, I guess." He grabbed two brooms, two mops, buckets, some floor cleaners, and dustpans. He noted the hammer, nails, and some woods inside. They could use that to fix the roof later. For now, they were focusing on cleaning the first floor.
