Later that evening Optimus was just spending some alone time with you , feeding you your 2nd bottle of energon of the day when the Preds decided to attack the base "WE'RE a UNDER ATTACK!" Dinobot shouted . You started to whimper and cry from fear as the base shook and got shot at , Optimus puts the bottle down and tries to sooth you , gently rocking you in his arms " Cheetor, Dinobot , Rattrap take care of the Predacons " he commanded "we're on it big bot" Cheetor replies and all three of them went outside to get the preds away from the base . Meanwhile Optimus struggled to calm you down " shhhh it's alright, I'm here , daddies here your alright sweet spark" he softly says , but to prevail you still continued to cry . Optimus sighed sadly , he didn't like seeing you so upset and afraid like this " you want me to have a go at it and you can help the other?" Rhinox offered " sure" Optimus replies gently handing you to Rhinox.

Rhinox carefully held you in his arms while Optimus rushed outside to help the others . Rhinox held you close to his spark and softly rubbed your back and began humming a soft lullaby to you . Your spark connected with his as you could feel the soothing slow rhythm of it , calming down slowly your eyes begin to close . Rhinox smiled down at you " there we go, everything will be alright little one , you are safe" he calmly tells you. Optimus and the others manage to get the preds away from the base and come back inside , Optimus smiles at Rhinox seeing him successfully being able to calm you down " well it seems like your better at calming her down than I am , how'd you do it?" He asks" you need to hold her close enough so her spark connects with yours, the rhythm of your spark calm her down . And it doesn't hurt to humm to her as well" Rhinox explains " so I see, excellent work old friend " Optimus tells him. Rhinox gently hands you back to Optimus " it's late we should all get some rest, a lot has happened today" he says . Optimus Carrie's you to your room and gently puts you to bed " sweet dreams little maximal " he softly says , gently stroking your cheek smiling down at you. He then goes to his own room and everyone gets some rest for the night.

The next day.....

Cheetor was the first to wake up and goes to check on you, yawning tiredly he opens the door and smiles sleepily " good morning (y/n) , sleep well?" He says going over to your crib. He looks inside and gasps, running out of the room he quickly goes to see Optimus " OPTIMUS! We have a problem " he frantically says . Optimus tiredly sits up on his bed and rubs his eyes " what is it Cheetor?" He asks " it's (y/n), she isn't in her crib" Cheetor tells him. Optimus looks at him worried "what? What do you mean she isn't in her crib?" Optimus asks " I went to check on her and she was in there, we have to find her, she could be hurt" Cheetor says. Optimus and Cheetor goes to her room , Optimus checks her crib and all around her room but she was no where to be found . Not being able to find her Optimus calls everyone out of their room " *yawns* ehh what's the problem Optimus?" Ratttrap tiredly asks " yea Optimus what seems to be the problem?" Rhinox asks " (y/n) isn't in her room , she's gone missing " Optimus worriedly says . Rhinox and Rattrap look shocked " how is that is possible? The kids only a baby" Rattrap says " she couldn't of gotten too far , she doesn't even know how to walk yet" Rhinox adds on" we need to search the base, she could be anywhere " Optimus says .

They all spread out and search the base for you " you...don't think she got outside do you big bot?" Cheetor asks " no, she couldn't have , the hatch was closed all night and even if she did the shields would of kept her inside the perimeter " Optimus tells him. Rattrap wandered through the halls and tried to called out to you " come out , come out wherever you are kid" he says walking down the hall, that's when the sound of babbling was heard . Curiously Rattrap walked around the corner and spotted you crawling towards the weapons vault " there you are" he says , he quickly goes after to you and picks you up in his arms " got ya know you little scamp" he says. He then coms Optimus " hey uh Optimus I found her, she was crawling towards the weapons vault " he informs him " good, hold onto her I'll be there in a moment " Optimus replies . Optimus and the others meets up with Rattrap and Rattrap hands you over to him " the kid was crawling down the halls when I saw her" Rattrap tells him . Optimus sighs and smiles you " I see, I guess that mean we'll have to put in some extra precautions now since she can crawl " Optimus says " I better start putting together some baby gates around here to start" Rhinox states " BABY GATES! What is this a military base or a day care center?" Dinobot snarls " the base can dangerous to her Dinobot, if she was to get into certain things she could seriously hurt herself. We need to keep her out of harms way at all cost" Optimus explains to him .

Cheetor begins to ponder " I'm just trying figure out how she got out in the first place" he says "maybe the security cameras saw it happen" Rhinox suggests rubbing his chin. They all go over to the cameras and watch this morning's security tape , examining it closely they notice you trying to climb out of your crib and successfully getting out of it. They then see you crawling towards the door that was opened just enough for you to crawl through and watches as you leave the room " hmmm so that's how she escaped her room" Cheetor says " I see we'll need to make sure her door is fully closed before leaving her room" Optimus says.....( to be continued)
