Sparkling of mine ( Transformers beast wars )

Restless night

It was late at night and all the maximals had decided to retire to their rooms for the night , after-all it was quite the stressful day for everyone . Optimus was just glad to have you back , safe and sound in confines of their base as was everyone else . Holding your sleeping small frame in his arms he lets out a sigh of relief and comfort , simply just enjoying sound of your peaceful and calm breathing . He softly smiled down at you and yawned tiredly " you heading to bed Optimus?" Rhinox asks him, Optimus looks at him " hm? Oh uh yeah I guess I better put her to bed " he replies . Walking down the hall to your room Rhinox follows behind him and they both go into your room quietly , Optimus lays you gently inside your crib " we're lucky that they didn't inflict any harm to her" Rhinox states " yeah, I just hope it won't affect her later on. She must of been so scared " Optimus replies quietly " she'll been fine, she probably won't remember it when she gets older " Rhinox tells him . Optimus lets out another sigh and simply shakes his head as he softly strokes your helm .  They both then left your room silently and headed to their own to sleep for the night.....

About three hours into the night you started to whimper and whine , you were having a nightmare and it was clearly upsetting you. You dreamt that you were left abandoned in the middle of a foggy Forrest , all alone without your family to comfort you. And all the while you could Predacons close by, the sound of snarling and growling was all around you . You began to panic as you frantically looked around in the hopes of seeing your daddy close by to save you but alas he was nowhere to be seen. You got startled as the ground beneath you begins to shake , you stare in fear as a giant purple dinosaur comes stomping toward you . It picks you up in it mouth and bites down on you, hurting you.......

You start to cry loudly in your sleep out of fear and this instantly alerts Optimus , he sleepily sits up in bed and quickly goes to your room . Going inside he looks at you sadly and gently lifts you into his arms " shhhhh everything is alright sweet spark daddies here, daddies here" he tries to calm you, but to no prevail you continue to cry . He ponders and tries to figure out what was causing you to cry, he checked you diaper but it was dry, he tried to feeding you a bottle but you refused to take it. That's when Rhinox and Cheetor woke up and came to see what was going on" *yawns* what's going on Optimus? Is everything alright?" Rhinox asks " I'm afraid not, i can't seem to figure out why she's crying . Her diaper is clean and she's not hungry " Optimus tells him " could...she be having a nightmare? I know those could probably upset her" Cheetor suggest . Optimus thinks about it and it does make sense to him, since you were only baby you were more likely to get frightened by certain thing's easily and with everything that had happened recently it would make sense for it to be the cause of your nightmare " your probably right Cheetor , with her being so young it most likely a nightmare that's causing her distress " Optimus replies. Cheetor gets an idea and goes back to his room for a moment, going over to an old box of his he opens it up takes out a (favourite animal) plush and brings it back to your room with him" this should help her sleep at night " he says handing it to Optimus " it should help, but we still to get her to calm down before I put her back to bed " Optimus says .

Rhinox is next to come up with an idea " you could try singing to her , a soft lullaby usually helps putting a sparkling to sleep " he suggested " it's worth a try, it's late and she needs her rest as do we all" he says and begins to softly sing a cybertronian lullaby to you to help you sleep and gently rocks in his arms . You begin to calm down and slowly  fall back to sleep, Optimus smiles down at you  tiredly and gently puts you back into your crib and puts the plushy beside you. You snuggle up with the plushy , hugging it tightly in your little arms " there, sound a sleep again" Optimus happily says . With you sound asleep once again they all quietly returned to their rooms to sleep.....( to be continued)
