"A Skrill?" Venom said.

Not too long ago, the teen riders and their dragon brought something to Berk that Venom thought he wouldn't see in his life. Toothless told Venom that Bucket and Mulch found a Skrill after getting attacked by the Berserkers at the ice mountain where they found it. Dagur has been obsessed with founding this dragon and having one by his side would spark danger and chaos everywhere. The fact that Hiccup left Snotlout and the twins to watch it while in the ice.

"Apparently. Good thing we found it before Dagur could get his hands on it." Toothless said.

"And Hiccup left it in the hands of three of the most irresponsible Viking teens on Berk?" Venom said. Just then, an explosion was heard from the Academy. The two looked at each other as if to say, "Of course." They and the others ran towards the academy to see the smoke cleared to reveal the Skrill released from its frozen prison. The other dragons surrounded the Skrill to prevent it from escaping. However, the might of the Skrill pushed Stormfly out the way with ease.

At the moment Hiccup and the other riders showed up, he glared at the three responsible for letting the Skrill escape.

"Their fault." Snotlout said, pointing to the Thorston twins.

"Hey. He stole our plan." Ruffnut complained.

"I told you guys to leave it alone." Hiccup said.

"It jumped us." Tuffnut explained as he and his sister jumped off Barf and Belch. "Sneaky dragon."

"From inside a block of ice?" Hiccup asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Uh... very sneaky dragon." Tuffnut tried.

Hiccup rolled his eyes at the blonde twins and then noticed his dad examining the block of ice with a very worried expression. That bothered the boy, because his dad does not usually get worried so easily. "What is it, dad?" He asked.

"When I was lad, my grandfather used to sit me on his knee and tell me stories." Stoick answered, getting everyones' attention "I thought they were just tales."

"Tales about what?" Hiccup asked.

"Berserker fleets attacked behind harnessed dragons that brought down lightning from the sky and destroyed everything in their path." Stoick explained.

"That explains why they have the Skrill on their crest." Astrid said.

"You think the Berserkers could actually control a Skrill?" Hiccup asked skeptically.

"I didn't think anyone could ride a Night Fury." Stoick countered. "We just can't take the chance. If the Berserkers find that Skrill and know some way to control it—"

"We'll find it dad. I promise." Hiccup reassured.

Toothless looked at Venom.

"Want to come along this time?" Toothless said.

"If you guys are gonna stand any chance against it, I'm your safe bet. So, why not?"  Venom said.

The next morning the dragon riders were high in the air looking for the Skrill. Today the skies were cloudy with signs of a thunderstorm coming.

"Any idea what we will do after we find it?" Astrid asked.

"We catch it, we tame it, we train it, keep it away from Dagur so he doesn't use it against us." Hiccup answered simply, "What do we know about the Skrill? Does it have any weaknesses?"

"Actually, it does." Fishlegs said, "According to the Book of Dragons, it can't redirect any lightning if it's in the water."

"Ok. That's a start." Astrid said.
