The party is tonight and I'm on my way home from work. I'm dreading to even think about what's gonna happen.
When I arrive at home, I sit in the kitchen and when my mum approaches me.
"Be nice to Ben, for your stepfather's sake" she says. I nod and head upstairs to get changed into something more comfortable. I hear the door shut downstairs and my mum calling me.
I walked down the stairs and Ben was sat down having a glass of whiskey with my mum. I sit down and I am trying to be nice to him. I am but his fake niceness is killing me. Why can't he be a friend to me just for one night.
Soon all the guests arrived, which consisted of my brother in law only.
Everyone is drinking apart from me, I have work tomorrow morning so I don't want to drink. I ran upstairs and called Jack, I told him not to worry about me and Ben, I also told him that I had to be nice for my parents sake. He was out with his friends and a girl, who he promised to have sex with. I was worried about him, as we're chatting away his friend calls to him "yo Jack did you fuck her?" He asks. Jack reassures me and tells me to go and enjoy my night.
I walk downstairs and 'Roar' by Katy Perry came on. I'm singing away to Ben
who is trying to be nice as we act out a music video to our parents. I lean over to him and whisper "See we can be friends". He looks at me with disbelief in his eyes.
"It's called acting" he says. Wow, what a douche. I soon head upstairs and lay in bed. I try and sleep but music is blaring downstairs, I cover my ears and close my eyes, before I know it I am taken into the world of dreams.

I am awoken by shouting, again, my step dad is shouting at someone downstairs, most likely my mum but who knows. I get out of bed and run to their room which shows what's happening in the back garden. I can see my stepfather yelling at my mum and my brother in law. He throws a chair at no one in particular. My heart is racing and I need to calm down before I have another seizure. I can see Ben stood there, trying not to get involved, oh yes did I mention he's staying the night? He walks into the house and walks into my room with my little sister. He cradles me in his arm while I sob into his shirt. He tells me it's all gonna be okay. After what seems like forever the shouting stops. I am drifting off to sleep when somebody comes into my room and plants a kiss on my forehead. It's Ben. He lays down on the floor next to my bed and I drift off to deep sleep.
