THE BROTHERS HAD FINISHED TALKING TO THE CORONER, Aria had to stay in the car, hiding out under a blanket to avoid being seen.
Now, they were in the hotel room, Aria asleep in one of the beds. She had fallen asleep when Sam and Dean got back to the car, Dean having to carry her inside and put her to bed.
The father was surprised that Eliza hadn't called. He figured that she would want to talk to their child. He assumed that she thought it would make matters worse.
Aria hadn't really thought of her mother besides when they first arrived. It seemed that thoughts of what happened faded away when she was with her father.
However, it didn't stop her from thinking about her when she was asleep.
As Aria dreamed, she dreamt about her mother, and the woman was doing horrible things.
The woman had taken her away from her father - just as she had promised the day prior. She would be careless with Aria in the dream, forgetting to feed her while she would scream at her.
Aria knew none of it was real, but she couldn't feel as if it wouldn't be real. What if her mother did take her away from her father? What would occur then?
When Aria woke up, she was in the backseat of the Impala, a blanket draped over her. Her teddy bear was beside her, as well as her baby blanket.
Dean and Castiel had left to get the ring of Famine's finger. Dean didn't want to leave his child alone in the car, especially at night. But, he knew it would keep her out of the line-of-fire, so it was best. Besides, the door was locked, and the windows were all rolled down slightly.
She looks around curiously, seeing that they were parked at a diner. The girl had never really been alone like this before; she didn't know whether to be calm or afraid.
It felt like forever until her father, along with Castiel and Sam, had returned to the Impala. Dean instantly spotted his daughter hugging her teddy and blanket to her chest. He felt bad, but then again, it kept her safe.
