Callie
I wake up to hear my alarm ringing, I wake up slightly before remembering it's my first day of senior year.

I get up going to brush my teeth. "Callie," I hear my mother screech. I spit out my toothpaste "Yes mom" I ask.

My and mother have the perfect relationship. My father died when I was 6 and ever since she's held on to me extra tight. Maybe even over celebrating every birthday and the first day of school.

"I made your blueberry pancakes."

I smile while putting away my toothbrush. "I'll be right down."

I love pancakes, especially blueberry.

Before going downstairs I put on an oversized T-Shirt with a band on it and light blue jeans.

I walk downstairs and my mom greets me with a huge hug. "Mom, I can't breath." she lets go. "I'm so proud of you honey," she says while smiling. "Thanks, mom." I walk over to the dining room table to find a stack of pancakes.

I grab a pancake and bite it. "Callie why don't you sit down." I sigh. "Mom is gonna be late, thanks." I run back upstairs grabbing my bookbag.

I run back downstairs "Bye mom I love you." I say while running out the door.

I run back inside realizing I forgot my car keys when I got my license mom bought me my car. "Sorry, mom I forgot my keys," I say while grabbing my keys off the counter.

I run outside checking the time to make sure I'm not late. I start the car and begin driving to school.
