"No that's impossible, she- she's at work. She's a nu- nurse at the hospital." my vision goes blurry and I can't hear anything.

I fall to the ground a wake up to Aiden handing me a cup of water. "I don't have godparents or any other relatives they- they all died."

The police officer sits down, your mother's will states that everything with is left to you." he says while putting her car keys on the table. "So what Im supposed to live in her house and drive her car?" he doesn't answer.

"Would you like to see your mother before she's sent to the funeral home?" "Who makes the funeral preparations I can't do that." Aiden grabs my hand, "Please leave." I ask him while pulling my hand away.

He gets up leaving, I'm glad he understands but instead of looking for my mom or doing something I was talking to him and playing around with him.

I remember the pot of water on the stove and getting up to turn it off. The police officer hands me a number to the funeral home.

"Can't they just bury her next to my dad, I don't want a funeral we had no one," I say. He shakes his head up and down, "you have to identify her body then we can."

"I don't want to see her." "I'm sorry you the only relative just come with us." I pour the pot of water out walking out the door with the police officer.

We drove to the hospital and went into a back room with a covered body.

A single tear falls down my left eye as the person uncovered her face. I step closer to her, rubbing my hand on her cheek "I'm so sorry." I kiss her forehead stepping back, "It's her, please put her to peace with my dad now." I say walking out of the room.

I run outside holding my chest, this can't be real.

My mom and dad are dead, I will never hug her or hear her again. My mom was my best friend and my dad was my superhero. I don't have them and how am I supposed to survive?

I see my car pulling up. Confusion fills my head. The window rolls down "Get in the car." Aiden says. I get in because there is no other way I can get home. He begins driving off route to my house, "where are you taking me" I say while my eyes fill with tears "Alex's house."

He knew exactly what I needed and he understood it.

We get to Alex's house and he runs out. I open the car door running into his arms. I begin balling my eyes out, "My mom is dead."
