Epilogue – 5 years later
The streets of the city were bustling and lively as ever. A woman in techwear looked into the window of a clothing store peering at the cashier behind the counter of the store. Blowing a bubble from her gum and popping it she turned around only be see a grey wolf walking down the street. A sense of familiarity and déjà vu filled her casually she smirk "Legoshi?!" she shouted waving her arm the grey wolf stopped and looked around to see the female hyena waving to him
"Nao?" he responded suddenly the air felt very still between the hyena and the wolf.

"Wow, how long has it been? What's happening in your life?" Nao asked as they both were sitting down at a table outside a café they happen to find
"Nothing much let's see. I dropped out of school a year or two after you left. Lots of stuff happened, I joined the police, I met a rabbit named Haru we got married and have one kid now and one on the way. What about you after everything was over you just left. Where have you been?"
"Oh well, you know a little here and little there. I did stay on an island for two years, that was wonderful, then I got called back here on business"
"Ah sounds interesting" after a while of catching up with each other for the past 5 years the two started reminiscing about their past together.
"You know Jack my best friend, he actually had a crush on you back in the 1st year of junior high"
"Nah uh. Wait, was that why he kept giving me those CDs all those times?!"
"Yeah I sort of told him your music taste and he created CDs for you all the time"
"Damn would have never guessed also question why a rabbit if I'm just being honest?"
"Oh well, it's kind of hard to explain. I guess a mix of instinct and attraction"
"Fair enough. Fair enough" they talked for what seemed like hours just catching up until Nao's phone notification went off "It seems I'm needed elsewhere. It was nice getting to meet you again Legoshi"
"You too Nao, when will I see you again?" Legoshi asked as Nao ran off
"We'll run into each other again someday soon" she expressed blending into the crowd as so did Legoshi.
