Hello lovelies... Some of you may know me from my story "Dragon Slayer Mating Season."

Well this is a re-write! Now that I am older and have a better understanding of writing, grammar, and plots... I felt like I could do better so enjoy the story.

Updates will be coming ASAP, and I do not OWN Fairy Tail... Hiro Mashima does. Thank you!

(Normal POV.)

It was just a regular day in Fairy Tail, everyone was being their usual loud and cheerful selves. However suddenly the guild doors opened, heads turning to see their favorite blonde beauty—Lucy Heartfilia. The celestial mage known for being a runway heiress for freedom, leaving riches beyond imagine, to have unlimited adventures with her two best friends... Natsu Dragneel and Happy.

"Hey Lucy!" Everyone in the guild greeted with wide smiles, some even with a beer in their hand as they cheered for just her presence alone.

(Lucy POV.)

I raced through the streets of Magnolia, quick apologizes leaving my lips when almost crashing into a few people. Last night Team Shadow Gear had just gotten back from a week mission, Jet and Droy telling me that Levy insisted with an urgency that had me shocked to meet her this morning... and I was late!

Although I wonder what could be so important...

Walking through the guild doors, I was greeted by everyone that had all my worries disappear. Waving back with as just much enthusiasm before scanning over the entire guild with a soft smile.

Even though it was super early in the morning, I couldn't help but laugh seeing the chaos that would be considered perfectly normal. Eyes following to see Cana drinking, obviously drunk, while Mirajane took orders with the grace of a... demonic angel. Gray barely took a single step before stripping unconsciously as Juvia watched from afar with hearts in her eyes and his clothes already in her grasp.

A grin slowly forming when seeing the youngest dragon slayer talking to Romeo, a giggle escaping knowing our sweet Wendy had developed a crush on the boy—Speaking of dragon slayers though, I couldn't help but frown when not seeing mine.

'That pink haired idiot better not be causing any trouble that would cost me jewels!' I growled, knowing full well that if Natsu broke anything... Or anyone... He would somehow get me involved with the punishment.

Shaking my head, I continued to look around to see at the end of the bar, the youngest Strauss siblings were in deep conversation... Their joyful expressions had warmth spreading through my heart.

It has been nearly a year—Or technically 8 years because of that seven-year gap—since Lisanna came back home and we won the Grand Magic Games while also defeating the Eclipse gate. Even saving the Celestial world!

There had been many parties for celebration that I'm not even sure we stopped partying from how many members were still drinking like no tomorrow. However, I couldn't help but notice Mirajane as she served Ezra her favorite slice of strawberry cake... Seriously where the hell does she put all that sugary weight.

The takeover mage was trying not to be too obvious, eyes full of panic always needing to glance back at her younger sister to make sure Lisanna was still there... In front of her and laughing. The action had a painful understanding spread, because I would've been the same way if my mother died but was somewhere alive and came back to me.

However... our stories were much different and even if I wasn't so lucky like people say, I'm glad they were.
