Tubbo collapsed on his bed.
"Another day, another pain."
His head sang. He sighed and undressed out of his suit. He hung up hsi clothes for tomorrow, suddenly excited for the future. The festival he had been spending all of his time decoration and preparing. He laid on his bed and immediately fell into an uneasy sleep, and in his sleep dreamed a nightmare from his child long forgotten but somehow still buried deep within.
"He sat on his tiny bed crying, bruises and cuts littering his leg and arms. Upon his face was a new mark still stinging from when it was inflicted. Then his door creaked open and the goat immediately stopped crying, holding back tears with all his might and looked up to see his father. Schlatt. The older then proceed to beat and scold the boy for crying and leaving blood on the floor. The younger then apologized and went downstairs to clean up his own blood then returned to his room and packed his few loved belongings and waited for Schlatt to either get too drunk or go to sleep once the house went silent he crept out with his box of things and ran. Tubbo ran and ran until he couldn't any more then collapsed in his box where he would spend many more nights in."
He woke up in a cold sweat. Old memories his brain pushed away came back to him. He felt his head, bumps were felt in the once smooth skin. The goat began to panic. He rushed to the bathroom and looked in the mirror. Sure enough there were tiny horns just barely sticking out of his head. Then suddenly he saw Schlatt and stubbled away from the mirror in fear. The face then disappeared and Tubbo saw himself and a shiver ran through him. The similarity. He shook it off and then remembered what the day was and happily got ready trying to hide what he remembered and the fear he felt. As the day proceeded he arrived at the festival on time and checked to make sure everything was in place. He greeted the guests as they arrived making small talk with everyone being the happy bundle of sunshine he portrayed each and every day. He then saw Technoblade and quickly remembered the real task at hand. He greeted Techno in a similar fashion as everyone else then muttered something about using the bathroom and quickly left the scene and went off. He quickly started to search for the two uninvited guests. He saw two figures on a building and recognized them as Wilbur and Tommy. Feeling satisfied and ready he then went back to where he was needed ignoring the feeling in the back of his mind. As he returned to the festival he was quickly taken to the side by Schlatt. Every inch of his skin got the normal feeling of wanting to flee the goat now understanding the reason behind the feeling still remained still.
"Hey Tubbo,"
Schlatt's voice, cold with the scent of an alcoholic beverage wafting around as he spoke.
"Just wanna make sure your speech is still planned and no unexpected changes to it."
The smaller goat nodded now, uncomfortable with how close Schlatt was to his face. The taller one smiled and spoke.
"Just wanted to make sure there are NO SURPRISES. I HATE surprises."
Tubbo again nodded and forced a smile on his lips. Schlatt then turned away from his child walking back out to the festival waving his hand as a clear gesture for Tubbo to follow him. The young goat went without protest and joined back with everyone feeling much better being away from the leader. The mood of the festival was enchanting; making even the saddest of souls laugh. That was until the time for Tubbo to give his speech came.
The events leading up to his speech went as planned, nothing out of the ordinary. Then it was time. Tubbo's palms were sweating anticipation to get it over with flooding his veins. Schlatt called him up. He approached the stage. The teen finally feeling ready stole a quick glance at the two boys on the roof and looked back to the crowd. He took a deep breath and spoke. The speech he rehearsed so many times it almost felt natural. His mouth opened and words prepared and manipulated by Wilbur Soot and Schlatt flew out. Until thoughts formed in his head about how happy the crowd looked and then pondered if weather or not he really wanted it all to just vanish. He hesitated saying the last line knowing what would happen if he dared to. Schlatt prodded him and urged him to say the last line. Just seeing his face made up his mind. "Let the festival begin." He looked up to see Wilbur start sprinting off the roof, almost falling and rushing off to complete his side of the task. Then suddenly everything started to blur once more as he thought about what order of events he just started. He began to turn to head to the stairs and leave, but a hand stopped him. He then stepped back and looked up. Shlatt was standing over him with a disappointed look in his eyes. The goat was then in fear, flashbacks danced through his head making the situation more terrifying than it actually was. The teen then realized the president and vice president had trapped him in a box of yellow concret. He began to stubble forward to escape but was stopped by a fence that Quackity placed. He spoke his words slurring."S-schlatt?" The world then became black and the voices became muffled; he forced his eyes open to see Technoblad standing in front of him holding his new rocket launcher. The weapon of destruction loaded and pointed straight at him. He managed to get out."T-Technoblade!?" The world then slowed as the following events happened. Techno spoke, regret filling the tone of his voice." I'm sorry Tubbo, I'll try to make it as colorful and painless as possible." Relizating hit the goat like a ton of bricks. He was going to die once again, murdered by the hands he had trusted. He braced for whatever was to come.
"BANG"
