Colors danced in front of his eyes, his ears ringing the entire left side of his body screaming in pain. He could feel blood flowing down his body already creating a puddle around him. The darkness came, comforting as it was, it did not last long. He opened his eyes to find himself where he was the last time he died. He stared up at the moon and the trees that loomed in front of the silver sphere causing shadows to be cast around him. He then realized that he couldn't open his left eye. He reached up to touch it and felt its glossy surface and realized his eye was open he just couldn't see out of it. He then felt the rest of his face realizing that it felt rough and unfamiliar. He began to feel lightheaded and realized that he was still bleeding. He stumbled through the darkness till he reached his house. He entered his house and went upstairs to his bathroom. He caught his reflection in the mirror and was terrified of the creature that stared back. It was still the fluffy haired young teen goat but not at the same time. The person in front of him was not smiling, his eyes were dull, the entire left side of his face burnt and bleeding. He tore his eyes away from the unfamiliar in the mirror and started to clean his wounds and wrap them in bandages. He felt his left ear. The normal fluffy surface was blood stained and pieces were missing. There was something else. Brushed some hair off his face near his left ear and realized he couldn't hear it he gasped. But the small goat could hear that. He brushed some hair near his right ear and he could hear it. The goat came close to tears as he realized his senses had been split in half. The teen stopped himself and scolded himself for feeling sorry for himself. The scared teen then began to pack a few belongings and go run off to Pogtopia. He met up with Tommy and the two teens sprinted off avoiding people returning to the holes. The duo eventually reached Pogtopia and met with Wilbur and Techno. The normal comforting feeling the goat normally got now replaced by a shuddering fear that made his hair stand up. The scared teen then remembered the amount of peer pressure Techno had to deal with and suddenly felt waves of empathy for the pig. He eventually came to the conclusion to forgive the pink haired one and hold no grudges. He then saw Niki enter the dark ravine panting and sweating relife suddenly filled him. Niki was okay. Niki brought Tommy aside and the two of them had a quick hushed conversation, both of them throwing looks at Wilbur fear caught in the older's eyes. Wilbur then approached him and questioned him about how he felt about Techno he decided to be honest.
"I don't blame him, he was under a lot of peer pressure. I forgive you, Technoblade." The goat spoke the last part addressing the now relieved looking pig. Wilbur on the other hand looked annoyed almost as if he wished for beef between the two. Tommy came back into the picture and started to shout at Techno once more about betrayal yelling harshly, clearly very affected by the festival's events. Wilbur began to speak to the two looking as if he enjoyed the drama and tension Tommy created. The scared teen zoned out not wanting to hear arguments right now, too tired to comprehend anything else today. He was brought back by the taller brunette asking him if Tommy and Techno should fight in the fit. His head still clouded, he shrugged not caring at the minute and then wandered through the stone hallways off to go find himself somewhere to lay down and hope he would wake back up in his normal bed.
The young goat stirred out of an uneasy sleep. Flashbacks haunted him to this day. The maniac laugh of his father, the loud sounds, the bright flashes. The scared teen laying down on the bed had nightmares almost every night of that horrid day. He didn't have time for childish things though. He had a country to run. He got up out of bed and put on a suit. Then he looked in the mirror to see a scared sleep deprived face. The scared teen then took his brush and made a small attempt to make himself look a little more presentable. He stared back into the mirror and touched his sightless side. The rough uneven surface felt familiar now unlike in the first few weeks. He walked away from the reflective piece of glass. He stepped down his stairs and went to his country. He walked across the elevated pieces of wood (A cat walk?) and strolled through his country. He sighed not being able to enjoy the view for long; he had business to attend to. He continued his walk through the once comforting sight but now the view only made the young leader think of how much of a failure he was. He sighed as he entered his office. Memories flooded back. The sound of his laughter still ghosted through the empty office. The goat sighed,"Now is not the time to feel sorry for yourself, you made him leave, you could have let him stay." His thoughts echoed through his mind. He shook his head and walked to his desk, sat down and started to work. The hours dragged on longer than they should. Each second of the clock ticking, hammered into his skull. He checked the time. 1:08. "Just three more hours,'' he thought. Then he could go and see Ranboo. Just the thought of him brought a smile to his face.
He dove back into the growing pile of documents and continued working. He finished the pile and looked up at the clock. 5:17. The goat jumped out of his seat releasing that he had been working for an extra hour long. He grabbed his coat and left sprinting off to the bench where he and Ranboo had agreed to meet. He rushed through the country now in his responsibility smiling and waving at Niki as he passed the retired soldier. She smiled but didn't try to stop him seeing that he clearly was in a hurry. The goat hurried down the path hoping that Ranboo was still there and would understand why he was so late. He arrived at the bench refusing to look at Tommy's house, memories threatening him. He looks up to see a tall dual colored enderman staring the opposite direction sitting cross legged on the bench. The sun was just starting to set making the taller barley more than a silhouette. Even with limited sight he could see Ranboo's two tails swishing back and forth to an unheard song. His tails barely brushed the grass beneath them. The goat smiled, his heart fluttering the nervous feeling he got around the tall teen returned making the short president grin. He went up the the bench on the other side where the enderman was not and spoke happily,
"Hey Ranboo thanks for waiting so long for me"
