He straightened out his clothes, making sure nothing looked out of place or wrinkly. After abandoning his criminal lifestyle he found that he had an eye for fashion, and he was not gonna let it go to waste.

"Do you really have to go?" His snake companion asked. He laughed.

"Snake I know you're still scared of the police, even after all this time, but I assure you, no I will never arrest you or any of our friends." He said calmly. Snake rolled his eyes.

"Highly doubt that." They stayed quiet as they recalled the time where there friendship was put to the test with them keeping things from each other back and forth, only to end up having the same motive. It really put a strain on there relationship, one that was hard to overcome, but they worked through it in the end. Wolf sighed.

"You can come with me on my first day, if you'd like?" Wolf asked with a smug smiled. Snake rolled his eyes and scoffed.

"Yeah I rather stay far away from anyone involved with he law."

"What are you gonna do when I come back with my bran new police uniform?" He asked jokingly. Snake chuckled.

"Fine, maybe I'll let you be around me."

"That's what I like to hear." Snake smiled.

"Anyways, I gotta go, you gonna be here?" He asked. Snake nodded and slithered away to sit on the sofa. "Bye!" Wolf called out as he walked out the door.

He got in his car and started to drive towards the police station.

**************

It was busing with noise, apparently he had forgotten the most important thing about today. One of his best friends, and the new mayor, Diane, was here today.

He forgot what she was here for, but regardless it was absolutely ridiculous to find a parking. After finally finding one, he got out of his car and started walking up.

Diane had actually stayed at the front door as other animals started surrounding her. Moe opened the door and tried to push through the crowd to get to Diane.

Once he finally got to her, he came to her side and quietly whispered in her ear.

"Do you need help?"

"Oh thank god, i'm so glad you're here, Moe." Diane said. Sure she liked meeting  new people, and finding new ways to make the world better, as cringy as it sounded, but she rather not be surrounded my like 30 people asking her 20 questions a minute.

Moe turned dramatically and got close to Diane's ear so it looked like he was REALLY whispering now. Once he backed off, Diane put on a fake surprised face.

"Excuse me, everyone, but I believe I must be going now, I have some important paper work to get too." She really didn't, and was actually specifically here to talk to the police officers, but one little lie couldn't hurt.

Moe gently pushed some news reporters away as he helped Diane get through and into an empty room. Diane tiredly sat down in the only chair in the room. Moe watched her amusingly.

"What?"

"What happened?"

"What? Wa- what do you mean? Something happening to me? The mayor? The strongest one here? Nothing. Nothing happened to me. Everything's fine."

"You're pacing." Moe pointed out smugly. Diane didn't even notice when she had stood up from the chair, but she found herself pacing in the tiny room. She took a deep breath.

"I was scared." She said finally.

"You were, scared?" He asked. She nodded.

"I guess being around the same group of rich people made me used to them, and I also didn't expect THIS many people to be here. So I guess the unknown and the unexpected combined kinda made me freeze up." She explained. Moe watched her happily through her explanation.
