Chapter 7

When Samara woke up, she found herself in Demon's arms, he was sleeping peacefully. She can not deny that he was hell handsome, but the truth immediately hit her. She tried to sit but his grip on her waist was tight.

Feeling the movement, he also woke up and a smile crept on his face. He pulled Samara closer and kissed her forehead and said in a husky voice, " Good morning, little bird. "

Samara was watching him with her innocent eyes. She was thinking about what was going on. She had pictured Demon as an evil person, so she didn't understand his soft side.

He stood up and said in a gentle tone, which he had never used before for anyone, " Pumpkin go take a bath, we will have breakfast after that. "

Samara nodded like an obedient child and went to take a bath. She was not even aware that the maid who bullied her yesterday was not in this world anymore.

After taking a bath, Demon holds her hand and walk to the dining room. He made her eat a lot of stuff; she could not deny him, she was hell scared of him.

Demon knew that she was scared of him but he thought that they would get along well with time.

After breakfast, he got a call saying that he has to travel to Italy for some underground business

He had meeting with a weapon dealer; initially, he wanted to take Samara with him, but he knew it would be too much for her. She was very innocent for this cruel world so it's better to keep her away from all this.

He told her, " Pumpkin, I am going out of the country so you stay here. You are not allowed to go out of this house. " Before leaving he kissed her forehead and said, " Pumpkin, stay here and take care of yourself. I have a surprise for you, once I come back I will give you that surprise. "

Samara was touched with his act; He was a mafia king but he was very gentle when he talked to her.

But she immediately stopped her feeling from going ahead saying herself, ' Samara, you are just a prisoner here. To protect your brother you should concentrate on how to escape this place and this city with your brother forever. '

Samara nodded positively. She didn't wanted to piss him off by any of her action. She would do anything to protect her brother.

By evening Demon left the country. Samara was sitting in the bedroom by the window. She was indulge in her thought, she wasn't happy with the situation. This place was like a golden cage but she was satisfied that she could do something to protect her brother.

She always wanted to do something for her brother. He always took care of her like a father, and never thought about himself, she was his first priority.

The group of maids who lost a friend wanted to take revenge. Four of them thought of a plan and started executing it.

The next day Samara was sitting in the garden when one of the maids approached her and gave her tea. Samara smiled at her and said, "thank you"

The maid said with a sweet smile, " Mam you are a very nice person, very much grounded. "

Samara smiled at her. The maid went inside smirking. The maid started interacting more with Samara, and Samara was also comfortable talking to her. She was happy that she had someone to talk to.

On the third day, the maid signalled Samara to go to the garden, and Samara did as she asked.

After reaching the garden Samara was sitting on the bench, the maid came with tea and said, handing the tea to Samara, " Mam, I don't think this place is for you. "

Samara smiled helplessly and said, " I know but I can't do anything. I can't risk my brothers life. "

The maid again said, " Mam, why don't you leave the city with your brother. "

Samara looked at her and said, disappointed, " I can't even go out of this house, how can I leave the city? And I don't even have a phone, how will I contact my brother? "
The maid replied immediately, " I can help you contact your brother and leave this city. "
