Pain.

That is the first thing I felt.

Help.

That is what I'm looking for.

Longing.

That is also what I'm looking for.

Awake.

That is what I want right now.

I wake up screaming for someone that doesn't belong to me anymore.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Later~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Bree?" I asked. "What time is it?"
"Lena, it's 11 right now," she replied.
"What happened?" I asked.
"Let me get you some food," Brianna said, and quickly left the room.
A few minutes later, she came back with some breakfast for both of us.
"Seriously, what happened?" I asked, pissed off.
"I think it is better to have the pack doctor to explain it to you," she replied.
As if on cue, the pack doctor came walking into my room.
"Hello, Lena, my name is Kate, and I am the pack doctor. I've heard tons of things about you," Kate said.
"Kate," my voice barely above a whisper. "What is wrong with me?"
"Lena, honey, your mate is trying to mate with someone else. He rejected you, but then you didn't accept the rejection. The pain usually kills the rejected mate, but then you reflected it back to him," Kate said sympathetically.
"In English?" I asked, biting my lip.
Awkward silence.
"You're mate had more pain than you because somehow you reflected the pain back to the pain to the owner. Where ever your mate is right now, he's probably in an Intensive Care Unit. You were barely in pain, Lena," Kate said.
My smile was full of victory for making my mate suffer after he made me suffer from rejection. Kate left my room.
"Lena!" Brianna sang. "That was awesome!"
"And boss," I replied, laughing.
"Karma!" We both shouted, jumping on my bed.
Leo came walking in looking very shaken and worried.
"What's wrong?" Brianna asked.
"There's been an attack," Leo looked down.
"Who?" I asked.
"A 9 year old," Leo said sadly. "She's a Seer Wolf, she knew the risks of getting killed by rouges and psycho wolf killers."
"Take me there," we said in unison.
Leo took both of us to the edge of the forest and there is a body of a little girl. Her body was in a ball, as if she was cold before she died.
Suddenly Danny was behind us.
"Is it just me, or does it look like Mackenzie's death scene?" Danny asked, out of the blue.
What?
In my mind, I wished to go back to the scene where Mackenzie died. After a few attempts, I saw the scene. I resisted the silly urge to smile to myself- I'm a Time Traveller Wolf. Time Traveller Wolves are wolves that is at a place. and if they wished to see the place's history, they wish for it. Older wolves usually wish for it once or twice, but younger wolves (like me) take quite a few attempts.
In the scene, there is a beautiful girl facing the sky, eyes open, lifeless. Nearby were people weeping and taking photos of the scene.
The girl's long, dark, curly hair was spread out behind her like a bird's spreading its wings. Her mouth was partly open, like she was going to say something before she died. A man that looks like Danny knelt by her side, holding her pale hand, biting his lip, trying not to cry. People that passed by stared at the scene for a minute or so, and ran off, probably telling someone the tragic death of a young girl. Leo was talking to the photographers, forehead pinching second by second.
This is where Mackenzie died.
I pushed back harder and harder to see Mackenzie's killer.
When I finally saw the killer, he or she is wearing a ninja suit (Don't laugh, it's not a laughing matter) holding a rifle that has the word Silver Bullets Gun in red at the side.
The killer raise the gun at the unsuspecting Mackenzie and shot her, straight through the heart. Mackenzie fell down in slow motion, mouth opening part way, as if she was going to scream for someone before she fell down and died.
"It's true," I replied, in a trance. I didn't notice I was saying it before I heard it.
"WHAT?" Leo asked, alarmed.
"I'm a Time Traveller," I replied, nervous. What is wrong with Leo right now?
"Do you know how rare they are?" he shouted.
"No," I replied, nervous. Why is Leo so worried?
"Including you, there is 5 left, Lena," he bit his lip. "They're rare. You're rare. When did you find out you are one of them?"
"Two months ago. After my sister died," I bursted out nervously.
"That's it, Lena Smith. I'm having you and Brianna home schooled. You both have more than enough credits to graduate," Leo finally concluded.
It didn't really bother me because I have more time to investigate my sister's death. I spoke out, "I suspect there is a psycho wolf killer on the lose. He killed this girl and Mackenzie. We have to stop this person."
"How do you know it's a he?" Brianna asked, curious.
"Gut feeling. Which girl would wear a ninja suit to kill someone?" I replied.
Another silence for the record books.
"Brianna and Audrilina, go in now," Leo ordered (but it actually sounds like Don't you say something back to me, girl voice).
Brianna and I shrugged and walked into the house.
