// Third POV //
Haruto's parents traveled to Paris three months before their wedding day. According to his father, the wedding was old-fashioned: in their parents' backyard. They were poor, didn't make much money until Haruto's father was ten weeks married and scored a job in Eastern Fukuoka, in a tiny, community neighborhood where Haruto was brought into the world two years later.
The shore of Japan's biggest beach was about the length of a football field. As a child, Haruto loved to stare out into the line of water, the bluest blue you could ever imagine.
It had been lost inside of him just how beautiful his home was. He hadn't been to a beach quite like this one. The sun bore down, exhausting the members except for Haruto who seemed to have just the strongest amount of energy humanly possible.
Nothing could compare to Japanese air. Its sunsets and sunrises were like a beginning to each cycle, the admiration of the sand and sea creatures were immeasurable.
Yedam had all of this stored knowledge about all nature but specifically he treasured the deep sea and its residents. He lead the guys around mile after mile to bend down into the white waves and point at the creatures below him, giving fun fact after fun fact to a group of boys who were only half-way listening to him.
In his shadowy shades, a figure investigated him before making his voice known:
"Ruto, dongsaeng, I'm worried you'll get burned. You should get out of the sun."
Haruto laid his head down on his bare, folded arms that were placed on top of his hot-to-the-touch legs.
Junkyu bent to the level at which Haruto was sitting. The manner in which he was speaking to his third maknae was drowned with depth and warmth; He knew that it's been difficult for Haruto being back in his home country. You would think that he would be more than happy to be home, but it's been so long. He had just gotten use to be homesick, and know he was back.
They didn't even have time to prepare their families, YG told them a week in advance that they were traveling to Japan to perform their Japanese tracks. The J-Line thought the company was kidding at first, they shock hadn't even worn off yet before they were landed onto the familiar but distant feeling of the grass brushing their sneakers.
Haruto, being the youngest of the J-Line, seemed to be the only one sulking. He probably didn't know how to face his family after so long. He had gotten so used to speaking Korean and being around Koreans and their culture that, by the time he came back to old life, it felt as if his memories were as intimate to a movie.
The streets were the same, everything had become just as it had been when Haruto had left it. The summers were hot but cool, with skies bluer than the water. It was lovely, it was home.
Haruto peeked at his Korean brother through his shades, "I'm okay."
"Still, I want you out of the sun." Junkyu stood straight and gave his dongsaeng his left hand, lifting him up as the Japanese kid submitted.
At his tall height, Haruto could see the birds sleeping on top of Treasure's umbrella. He was walked underneath the umbrella, into much needed shade, with Jihoon, Mashiho, and Junghwan resting inside.
