It was a pretty normal day in Ninjago a little cloudy but it wasn't a gloomy day at least not for anybody but Kai the firey ninja had been put under 'house arrest' which was what Master Wu called being grounded.

He didn't do anything really bad he just wasn't where he was meant to and Cole ended up getting hurt. He felt bad of course but it wasn't anything too bad I mean Cole was fine it was just a few cuts on his arm. Cole had even said he was fine and the younger ninja didn't need to be punished however wu still told him to go to his room and to stay there till dinner. He's been in his room since 7 am. this morning and it was now nearing dinner.

He wasn't allowed to even leave the room. He was lucky to have a bathroom connected to his room and Nya had brought him lunch, but he was VERY bored.

POV - Kai

'This is so unfair! Cole was fine. How was I supposed to know that me, stepping away for FIVE minutes would mean that those stupid snakes would attack?' I sighed still bored I was literally hanging upside down off the top bunk of the bed.

We all got our own rooms, but I hadn't been so lucky to get a 'real' bed so I just got the old bunk bed we had from the old place, it wasn't the worst but it looked weird as f*** when it's only one person who sleeps in the room.

I almost fell off, losing my balance. When I heard somebody knock on the door "Come in!" I shouted still trying to rebalance myself and not fall. I wasn't high but that would still hurt.

Pov - No one

The door opened to show the smoky-haired ninja who got him in this place "What are you doing Romeo?" Cole questioned shutting the door behind him and looking at the younger male who was upside down..? "I'm just chilling," Kai said starting to move very carefully to not hurt himself.

"Could you get down your gonna get hurt Romeo" Cole stated slightly worried Kai is gonna fall. Sure the kid was flexible and could definitely get himself stable but cole still didn't think it was smart, "Yeah yeah, whatever I'm getting down Rocky".

Just as Kai was starting to pull himself up he lost his grip and slowly but painfully fell to the floor, "Oww that hurt" Kai cried out, "Are you okay?" Cole questioned having a small smile that he was right about Kai going to fall but still felt bad he got hurt.

Cole walked over to Kai and helped him stand up "That f***ing hurt" Kai whined, "I warned you" Cole uttered, "Yeah Yeah".

Cole sat Kai down on the bottom bunk of the bed and lightly lifted Kai's shirt, "Oww Cole" He whined. Cole sighed seeing the younger male's back that wasn't badly bruised but it is definitely gonna hurt for a bit. "You have a pretty good bruise" Cole declared.

As he pulled Kai's shirt back down and sat with him on the bed, "You gotta be careful Kai" he says quietly. "Yeah I know" mumbled Kai "I'm really bored" Cole looked at the young man in front of him doing a small laugh "What? Ran out of stuff to do?" Cole asked laughing.

"Yeah I have I was so bored I was reading books." Kai dramatically said.

He laid down staring at the bottom of the top bunk. kai turned around his body to look at the slightly older male who was now laying on his bed he sighed and smiled softly and laid down next to the rocky ninja. "sorry..." kai spoke slowly opening and closing his eyes trying to keep his eye open "for what?" he asked confused on the younger's random apology "for getting you hurt..." he says softly trying hard to not fall asleep next to cole.

cole turned over to look at kai and smiled seeing him trying to stay awake he brought up his hand and gently petting kai. they stayed there for a bit before the young male fell asleep

cole had actually forgotten what he came in here for but he was happy to just see kai today. he had talked to wu to see if kai could just do extra training or something instead of staying in his room, and after a while, Wu had agreed.

kai woke up a little bit later slowly getting up and rubbing his eyes he felt something on his waist and looked over opening his eyes to see cole sleeping peacefully next to him his eyes widen and his face became as red as his gi. he carefully looked over to the clock on the left and seen that it was 9 pm they had missed dinner but somebody put two plates of food on the desk.

he very carefully pulled himself away from cole and walked over to the desk slowly pulling the chair out to not make noise so he can avoid waking the still sleeping earth ninja. he smiled softly trying to calm his blush and eat some of the food. whoever put it there tried to keep it warm but it had been so long that it hadn't really worked.

after he finished eating he slowly crawled over to the still sleeping male he grabbed the blanket which was held on the top bunk and lays back down with Cole covering both of them within minutes he was fast asleep in the arms of the older man

~~in the morning~~

POV - Nya

I woke up early and went straight to Kai's room to grab the dishes from their dinner last night I knew there was no way they would be up anytime soon. Somehow they both can sleep for hours and still be tried...should we get that checked?

I walk over to his door, knocking just in case. When I don't get an answer I just walk in slowly to not wake them when I get inside I look over to see Kai laying with Cole. Cole's arms gently wrapped around him I grab the plates and quickly take a picture of them just to tease later I then shut the door leaving them be in peace.
