~ Hayden / Wenz p.o.v ~

"Oh right, do you know what time it is?" I questioned as I raised my eyes to the sky.

Lizabeth closes her eyes and then opens them again, saying, "Wait, I'm going to ask my system."
" It's now 1:45 p.m., heh, time goes so fast, eh?"

" I just missed lunch, my "parents" are going to freak out."

"Well, you should go then," Lizabeth said as the wind blew over her. "Let's meet again tomorrow at 9:00 a.m., same place."

" Bye, if I can remember where to go, to this spot."

" Hehe Bye! "

We parted ways, waving at each other from a distance away.

My day went on normally after that, with the exception of my "sibligs" wanting to pick an argument with me.

~ 7:00 pm ~

I sat on my bed in my room, staring out the window.
In my thoughts, I can't stop replaying our conversation.

After thinking about that, I slept like a cat.

~ The next day ~

I'm running late for our meeting.
I'm sorry, but I forgot where I was supposed to go.

I'm finally back in that pink rose garden after multiple attempts.
I rushed up to the tree where we had first met.

....

....

....

She isn't there....

Either she got bored of waiting for me or she's just an illusion.

I sat down under the tree, watching the pink roses sway in the direction of the wind..

....

....

....

*rustle rustle*

" your late. "

"You're not a hallucination?" I asked, smiling.

Lizabeth leapt from the tree, carrying a basket. " What a fantastic coincidence! I had the same thought."

She sat down after laying down a large blanket and placed the basket there.

She indicated that I should sit with her by patting the large blanket a few times.

I listened to her request and sat there

I joked, "So we're having a picnic?"

"Yea! I also bought snacks from our previous world!" she said, opening the basket to reveal a variety of foods from all across our past world.

"So.... How am I going to help?" I said as I munched on a few cookies.

" Huh?" she asked, tilting her head.

"I mean, I don't have a system, an ability, or skills, and I'm not sure if I'll even be useful," I sighed.

"Don't worry, I'll come up with something! And if you truly do end up being useless, you can simply be my emotional supporter!" she said boldly.

" That......hurts......"

" Anyways, before you got reincarnated here, I was defeating some minor errors that even a child could handle, such as defeating small monsters or resolving arguments. And not to brag or anything, but I have some skills from my system that aren't overly op like those typical reincarnation mc do. So I'm fine to do things on my own, but the only thing I lack is a title."

She went on.

" I'm a commoner from a family that serves your family as a gardener, so if any errors come from nobles or a higher rank, I'm screwed. See, I'm not the heroine, so if I opened my mouth for a second in front of those aristocrats, my head would roll.

She then looked at me with a sparkling eyes " but you.... you can do it! You have a noble title! We can train together so you can hone your skills! "

My laid-back lifestyle is slowly disintegrating, eh?

" That sounds like I'm someone with a title that you can use."

"Wait! that's not what I meant! um, how about we get to know each other first, before we get into business," she said, her face panicked.

" Hm, I agree. "

We talked about various stuff for a few minutes to keep the conversation going.

I questioned again while eating cake. " Do you realize this world is based on an otome game?"

"Duh, of course. The plot of this otome game is so horrible that I cringe every time the heroine speaks," she muttered.

" Heh, same. "

I kept my guard up against her, but she appears to be genuine. We continued to talk about random topics like our favorite television show, favorite foods, favorite pets, and other things to get to know one other better.

I wasn't lying when I said I was having a good time.

After that, lunch arrived, and we said our goodbyes.

....

....

....

The day was over in a flash.
